Only Hyypia and Agger who started mid-week back in. Carragher right back - bit disappointed in that - his right back days are long gone IMO. Would have been better playing somebody like Darby - give him a chance.
Dossena can count himself lucky to get a spot on the bench IMHO.
One up front. How depressing. How can Torres start mid-week and not start today? No Pennant again - definitely game over for him.
No El Zhar? He had a good game mid-week. Don't understand some of these bench selections at times.

I would have liked to see El Zhar and Insua on the bench. Torres better get brought on early.

Not surprised about Nando. 30 minutes in 6 weeks is hardly enough to start. El Zhar and Darby should be in for Benny and Doss.

Keane's on goalscoring form - Torres isn't. 4-2-3-1 has worked excellently for us in the past, and as Torres is only half-fit, why not simply replace him with Keane?

Bit disappointed seeing us play one up front against these. Bolton are likely to play it tight and have one up front themselves, so we could be in for a scrappy game. Plus if Torres is going to come on at some point - can anyone honestly see any player other than Keane coming off for him?
Hopefully the players will have that hunger to get these vital points today and attack as a unit, so we wont have to worry about the formation so much.

Of course he will bring Keane off. Even if we were getting beat 2-0 he wouldn't go two up front.

Only just noticed that at Bolton - both sets of players come on to the pitch out a separate tunnel. Bit odd that in'it.

Bit odd indeed. Doesnt really add to the pre game festivities much though. Itching for a big win, Megson very defensive and negative. Stoke or West Brom? 90 minutes shall tell.

That's so Kevin Davies doesn't get lost and end up in the away dressing room.
