Javier Mascherano got his Argentinian captaincy (and Maradona's managerial career there) off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory over Scotland.

Mascherano played all 90 minutes in the friendly.

Albert Riera and Xabi Alonso both played for the full game as Spain battered Chile 3-0.

Reina, Torres and Arbeloa were all sent on early in the second half with the game at 1-0, with Torres then chipping in a goal.  Spain ended the game with 5 Liverpool players on the field.

Ryan Babel played for 65 minutes on the left wing (wonder if he had a moan) and Dirk Kuyt played the full game up front on his own scoring in injury time to help seal a 3-1 win over sweden.

Andrea Dossena kept the bench warm during Italy's 1-1 draw away in Greece.

And Daniel Agger played the full 90 in their home defeat to Wales 0-1.

Thanks for that JD, That's an excellent quick analysis and saves me looking at all the games to see how the lads got on. Cheers mate.

Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard. The difference? Frank Lampard became a world class player. Steven Gerrard was born one.

Disappointed that both Xabi and Masch played 90 minutes considering Stevie will probably be out of Saturdays game. Be a confidence booster for Albert and Babel to be playing for their countries I would think

Does anybody know if El Zhar is in the Moroccan squad?

Sami Hyypia played 90 in a 1-0 loss to Switzerland and Yossi played for Israel in a 2-2 draw

Wasn't a bad set of results for our lads, most disappointed will be Agger for losin to a pretty average Welsh side at home.
