Saw the first episode, and half of the second. If that was my dog I'd have the f**ker put down.

Enjoy it chap, as I won't be watching it.
He is a complete c**t :) maybe its not for everyone but I love it

Keep meaning to have a look myself.  Have been getting into 'curb your enthusiasm' lately which obviously has a lot of Seinfeld links.

Was watching a thing on TV about Fawlty Towers and John Cleese was picking his 10 best bits - after all these years and I was on to the show from day one it was still funny. JC was saying the quality of the show was down to the comical excellence and depth of each character in the show and he's only right, it just about edges it as the best comedy show of all time for me.

I think it's partly down to the time they spent writing it - about 6 weeks per episode I think, and they were clever in having 2/3 story lines in each episode.  Plus the superb acting as well.  One of the best shows ever.

I bet no one remembers 'me, you and him' with Punt and Dennis (and Nick Hancock).  Wasn't terribly good, just wondered if anyone remembers it.  Or 'the Kit Curran Radio show'?

That was mentioned about the time it took on each episode and Cleese was laughing as though he'd never seen it before while reviewing the shows.
That 'me you and him' show was funny in parts but didn't really follow it, the Kit Curran show had quite a fan base - he used to have guests on the show didn't he and it all used to get manic.

The first series of Green Wing was manically funny, the second did tail off a bit but still funny - worn the DVD out.

New series of Curb Your Enthusiasm starts tomorrow night on More 4.

I've been looking forward to this for a while now. One of my recent favourite sitcoms.

:D

I saw the actor that played the soup nazi in a bar when I visited LA last year.  Totally resisted the temptation to go up and say it though.

Did a guest spot in Scrubs a while back:

Men Behaving Badly was great.  Martin Clunes was really funny.  Is Doc Marten a sitcom?  I've just recently heard of it  (I live in USA now), and was wondering how good it is.  Blackadder was usually very funny ... also Fawlty Towers and Cheers.

More of a quirky drama, couple of series old now.

Doesn't bother me mate.

If you really like Clunes then yeah, his character is very straight-laced though! I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, but that's just my opinion.

New series of Two and a Half Men starring Aston Kutcher starting on Comedy Central+1 in a couple of minutes for anyone who's interested

Missed it on regular Comedy Central cos I was watching the footie but couldn't resist a little flick over and it didn't look too bad

Watching the first series of Not Going Out, this show has double the gag per minute ratio of any other show.

Last couple of nights I've been watching Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads on youtube and f**k me I've been in stitches at times with it. I've never given that show the credit it deserves but think I've started to appreciate it's comic value.

The early one's are best Billy, it went off the air for a while and they made a series like a catch up job but they didn't match the quality of the first one's.

Aye mate, saw bits of the original Likely Lads. Probably should of started with them, will certainly be looking out for them once I've gone through these ones.
