We're 22 games in to the season (16 to go) and we're sitting on 40 points.  In our Season Analysis last year at this stage the reds had 45 points, and the year before we had 37.

So predict the scores for the following games, and predict Liverpool's final points tally for this season.

The prize will be Liverpool's first new shirt released in the summer (or if you can't wait you can have one of the present ones).  [The winner will be the person who correctly guesses Liverpool's final points total.  In the event of a tie 1 point will be awarded for each correct scoreline prediction and the winner will eb the one with the correct points total AND most correct scorelines]

The Premiership games we have left are:

Watford v Liverpool
Liverpool v Chelsea
West Ham v Liverpool
Liverpool v Everton
Newcastle v Liverpool
Liverpool v Sheff Utd
Liverpool v Man Utd
Aston Villa v Liverpool
Liverpool v Arsenal
Reading v Liverpool
Man City v Liverpool
Liverpool v Middlesbro'
Liverpool v Wigan Athletic
Portsmouth v Liverpool
Fulham v Liverpool
Liverpool v Charlton

Reply to this topic with your scoreline predictions and the all important Final Points Total prediction.  Good luck!

Competition entries will only be accepted up until just before the Watford game on 13th January.  Winners will be announced after we finish this Premiership season in May.

Watford v Liverpool 1-2

Liverpool v Chelsea 2-1 (we are playing at home)

West Ham v Liverpool 0-4( goals goals goaaaaaals)

Liverpool v Everton 3-1 (as expected)

Newcastle v Liverpool 0-1

Liverpool v Sheff Utd 3-0

Liverpool v Man Utd 1-1 ( we like it or not, man u is on fire...alas..)

Aston Villa v Liverpool 0-2

Liverpool v Arsenal 2-1 (coming from behind)

Reading v Liverpool 1-0 (Reading is difficult to beat at home, they are playing decent football and prove they can beat anybody)

Liverpool v Middlesbro' 2-0

Man City v Liverpool 1-2

Liverpool v Wigan Athletic 4-0 (the usual)

Portsmouth v Liverpool 2-1

Fulham v Liverpool 1-2( to finish 3rd in front of Chelsea, a win needed, Stevie in the last 5 minutes with one of his specials)

Liverpool v Charlton 3-0 ( easy easy easy)

I redone the math and that should bring me to 80 points not 77 sorry lads..so 80 points.

Here are my predictions, this is hard to do wearing my Red tinted glasses, putting 1-1 with the Mancs when I really wanted to put 5-0 was hard.

Watford v Liverpool  0 - 3
Liverpool v Chelsea  1 - 0 (I just fancy us to finally put one over Mourinho's inconsistent side, as long as Carra ties up Dogbath)
West Ham United v Liverpool  0 - 2
Liverpool v Everton  3 - 0 (Stevie and Jamie will want to have some pay back and will fire the others up)
Newcastle United v Liverpool  0 - 1
Liverpool v Sheffield United  2 - 0
Liverpool v Manchester United  1 - 1
Aston Villa v Liverpool  1 - 2
Liverpool v Arsenal  1 - 2  (They have something over us this term and it's annoying)
Reading v Liverpool  1 - 1
Liverpool v Middlesbrough  2 - 0
Manchester City v Liverpool  0 - 2
Liverpool v Wigan Athletic  2 - 0 (Can't see another 4 goal mauling somehow)
Portsmouth v Liverpool  2 - 2
Fulham v Liverpool  1 - 3
Liverpool v Charlton  4 - 0 (worse defence I've seen in a long time)

I'm looking for 79 points and to finish 3rd, I say 3rd as I don't want United to win the league and Chelsea, unfortunately, are the only side, realistically, that can catch them, in an ideal world both United and Chelsea would collapse with the Reds to sneaking up on the outside to win it on the final Sunday of the season, ah well, if only.
