So far so good, too soon to make any comments on him, but pleased with what I've seen so far.

I think in the 2 games he has played in (Barca home and away), playing left back instead of his right back position - he has played extremely well. I liked the way he tried to encourage the crowd aswell on Tuesday night (as if we needed any more).

Arbeloa was played left back because Messi is left footed and he needed to counter Messi's runs and it worked well. When Messi came up against Del Horno last season he gave the Chavski defender a lesson about football, Rafa is more clever than Jose so Rafa used his brain to think of how to stop Messi, Mourinho has a big head for nothing!

He is here with Liverpool, we signed him for £2.6m so he is ours and don't need to buy him again. I would not use a translator they don't work well in sentences

I think Arbeloa has fitted in pretty well, from what I've seen. Too early to judge of course, but he seems quite confident on the ball - which is very important.
He slotted in and done a good job against one of the best young talents in the world.
Good stuff.

By the way. edu_rbb is an Arkles legend if you ask me!!!

I like this, is a great defender and had a great marking, messi cant play versus alvaro, and riise can attack peacefull and don't need see back, only think in attack... great job defensive this week

Much, much too early to say, but I've been impressed in the two games he's played.

The main reason he's been signed, I believe, is for his versatility. He can play anywhere across the back 4, but is most comfortable at RB. He might have been second choice, but I'm glad we got him rather than Lucas Neill.

I like this guy. he is very controlled and disciplined player. he will be a good asset in our team next year wen we put up a strong fight for the prem.

Been a great addition...love the fact that Rafa is such a master that it is as if he bought him only for the Barca games and for our run in europe to the Final to collect Number 6....made Messi look like  a  cheating, overated Argie....oh...he is....

same here from what I have seen so far(too early to judge,,but) I like the the guy ,,, good tackler and he can play iether side.....much better than neill ....... I think he can only get better when he settles more,,,,,,

Looks solid enough..just needs to adapt to the pace but made some recovering tackles/clearances the other night.
