Ssshhh.... 2 European Cup Final tickets and some travel funds

We had an email from Virgin Poker telling us about a tournament they are running next Monday (14th May).  Basically it's going to be quite a closed session - only 150-200 Liverpool fans involved.

£1 entry to the competition and the winner gets 2 tickets in the Liverpool end for the European Cup Final + travel funds.

If you like your Poker then this has to be worth a go.  They won't have time to heavily advertise this so I have posted it in here and will leave it about 24 hours before posting on the main board.

Sign up now - stick some money in your account (I put £15 in ready) have a little practice and then get involved in the tournament and you could (or hopefully me!) be winning those 2 special tickets.  If I win (I have finished 3rd out of 200 before!) then I will take one of you fellow reds from this forum who has also been in the tournament - can't say fairer than that) - will you return the favour if you win? 

(Oh, and I nearly forgot, whatever you put in to your account originally they double. ie. stick £15 in, then you get another £15 bonus off Virgin Poker).

I assume it's texas hold em, which I've never played, but I used to be quite useful at 5 card brag. For that sort of incentive I'll learn and I'll learn quick though. JD, if I win, I'll more than gladly take you with me.

Downloading the software now, and bought myself a 'Learn to play poker' DVD yesterday. I don't care, for a prize like that, it's worth learning in a couple of days.

I've just gone to register for the tourney and locked myself out by entering the wrong password 3 times! Duh!!

Got to wait 24 hours... It BEST not be full by then!

JD just downloaded the programme, but when I enquired about the required table with an online operator, I was told you had to qualify through a qualification table last night..............What a bummer !!!!!!!!

Not true.  I have just unlocked my password and gone in and registered. I am number 41 at the table!

All it cost me was £1.

Click on Multi-Tourney and then ALL and scroll down to the 14th May.  It is called Champs League Final.

Heads down at 7pm GMT.
