LFC Reds Prediction League 2007/08

We have been testing a Prediction League during pre-season and although some bugs still remain with the season nearly upon us we thought we would just crack on with it and see how it goes.

http://www.lfcreds.com/PredictionLeague/

You will need to register a username and password (but there is nothing stopping you using your Forum name and password).

Points

3 points for a correct score prediction.
1 point for getting the overall result correct.

We will try to post the fixtures for the month ahead so we have put on all of August's Premiership fixtures for you to predict.

We will work out some sort of prize for the winner at the end (as long as you have at least 19 games predicted out of the 38 - we will probably work this out on a Pts/Per game basis)

Any problems then please use the Prediction League Feedback thread
http://www.lfcreds.com/reds/index.php/topic,3669.0.html

Otherwise - all discussion goes in here.

18 predictions in for tomorrow out of the 27 users.

1-0 to the reds the most popular prediction. What a confident lot we are!

Damn I had originally gone for 1-0 then changed to 2-1... but of course all that is academic with Mr Styles in charge yesterday.

In both our games if it wasn't for a penalty I would've had the correct result Angry

As you can see from the table - you could probably join at Christmas time at this rate and still get in the Champions League places Wink

Here is the latest update after today's 2-0 win.

I have decided to put in ALL our fixtures from now on including cup games.

You can now bang your predictions for the Toulouse game and the Derby game next week.

Got my predictions in! Seem to be doing better at this than the fantasy football....

Good call putting the cup games in as well. Should make it more competitive.

How many times will I be wrong by one goal? It's been every game so far, I predicted 2-0 against Villa, 1-0 against Chelsea & 3-0 for Saturdays game. I think I'm gonna take the result I think we'll get & add another goal on it this time Cheesy

Funny you say that Eddie...I changed my last result from 1-0 to 2-0 (Sunderland) before the game & subconsciously have done it again for the game tonight!
