I'm doing a half marathon today at the other end of the country in Folkestone.
Time for bed before a 90 minute drive in the morning, then 2hrs or less of running!

With all the doom and gloom about poor performances I'm going for a positive 2 - 0 win over Marseilles to really kick off our season.

Why couldn't you have done this for August? My predictions have been letting me down since then!!

weird game to call. I think if we score early it could be 4 nil if not I think 2 nil. I think Marseille are a team that would curl up and die  early if ye go at them and score early but if you let them build there confidence up they could cos a problem or 2

Nobody did get the prediction right - nobody even predicted a Marseille win.

A few people did guess that Marseille would score one goal however.

Ive lost my unbeaten run!!!!!!lets hope the boys don't lose theres on Sunday..Theres been a bit of an over reaction from the press and some supporters,i even one fan on a phone in suggest Moanriho should take over..Lets put this into context,one defeat,yes a very poor performance,bit we hardly dead and buried yet are we?

In the glorious past, when Liverpool had a bad result, they would take it out on the next team they played.  I'm looking for us to seal Martin Jol's fate and grab all the points with a 3 - 1 win.
