The Guardian reports the Spanish outfit are considering changing policy after the apparent attack that left a security guard wounded.
Club president Florentino Perez currently insists on playing staff travelling through airports although the reported attack could lead to a change in tact.
Spanish radio station Cadena SER reports that Mourinho was signing autographs en route to the La Liga clash with Deportivo when a member of the security team felt a sharp pain in his side, later realising he had received a cut of around four centimetres from a sharp object.
