Krisztian Adorjan (Liverpool -> Novara Calcio)

I noticed that there was no thread for Adorjan.

I was quite impressed with his performance against Toronto. He showed a load of promise playing as CM. He linked up well with Suso and Shelvey.

did he even touch the ball?

Was played out of position and didn't really get much of a chance.

This lad is definitely one to be watched for the future.

he just needs to keep things simple.

I think he's going to be a great player.  I love the way he keeps things simple, just gets on with his game.

He keeps things flowing and it's great to see him scoring some cracking goals.

Reds fans had an exclusive chance to find out more about Krisztian Adorjan on Tuesday as the Hungarian striker answered questions during a Twitter interview.

The 19-year-old was given control of the @LFC account and invited supporters to get in touch via the #AskAdorjan hashtag, and the questions came thick and fast.

Teammate Dani Pacheco poked fun at his colleague, Adorjan explained why he decided to become a footballer, and the youngster revealed his favourite Scouse word.

@nsmedz: what's your favourite milk shake?
Krisztian: Strawberry, but I don't really like them very much!

@abhijit_13: Do you think you look like Joseph Gordon Levitt, the guy from Inception?
Krisztian: Yes, he's very good looking! Very similar!

@Luke_Vicary: What do you feel your best moment at Liverpool has been so far, and why?
Krisztian: The US Tour has been a highlight, playing in front of large crowds was great!

@demeterkristof: Do you have training with the first team sometimes and if yes how often?
Krisztian: Yes sometimes I go to Melwood to train with the 1st team.

@kweekes1993: if you could pick an all time Hungarian 5 a side team who would be in it?

Krisztian: For me it's iPhone. I also have iPad my favourite game is subway surfer. Next stop iPad mini!

Krisztian: I like NBA, Tennis & Handball. My father was national team player, My Grandfather, Janos played in Olympics & World XI team. My Grandfather received the Golden ball for best player in world. I'm very proud of him.

Never knew he was Hungarian, have to admit. I thought he was a Scandinavian. I spent a few months out in Hungary over the summer, working with their academies and coaching the kids. I have grown to respect Hungary and its people massively. Like the whole of Eastern Europe, they didn't have it easy. I understand a bit about their background and for that reason, I know how much hard work they put in to their game. Will keep a closer eye on Adorjan.

Speaking to the Hungarian FourFourTwo, Adorjan claimed that he had a 20% to 30% chance of making it at Liverpool's first team.
He said he want to impress in pre-season but if that's not enough then he sees the possibility of a loan move as the ideal option #Adorjan
He also said that he'd like to go to a league that suits his style, ideally the Belgian or the Dutch league. #LFC #Adorjan

Seems to be a forgotten man in amongst the talented attacking midfielders we have at the academy. Loan deal is the best option for him - he needs first team football.

Set for a week's trial at FC Groningen from Monday next week. Didn't think it would work for him here with so many above him in the pecking order.

Agree.  He has a classy touch and his reading of the game is impeccable!!  He lacks a bit of pace, but I still think he could develop into a very good player in the CAM role.  Would be nice to see him go on a loan to a team in Spain as I think he would fit that style of play very well.

I think if he had any pace he'd have got game time for us already.
The problem for Adorjan is that we needed pace in the team.
That's were the likes of Sterling are stronger.

We played Suarez, Coutinho & Henderson in the position that Adorjan is best suited to.
Tough gig to get into.

Turns out it was a loan. He started training with them, it was not a weeks trial.

Agreed. I'm always a bit wary about our players going out on loan because quite often, they don't come back! However, I think that this is a good idea and better experience than playing another season in the reserves. Sink or swim, Krisztian, give it your all.

Good luck lad!!  Always liked him, but he needs to show he can make the step up and given his age this is probably the best time for him to do it.  Hope he doesn't fizzle out like Pacheco....

Good move for him I think. He'll either improve immensely and come back to LFC or find an appropriate home elsewhere after this. As you said harrydunn08, good luck to him!
