We still need another defensive midfielder that can hold the ball and relieve pressure. IMHO this is what we are currently lacking.

I agree, I think we are finished with signing players.

I think Borini and Assaidi and their refusal to move on probably means we'll do F**k all else.
Unless they leave I can't see much else happening.

Either way, the club has done well.

I still think there'll still be a couple of outs (Borini being one) but my waters tell me that we're done.

I must add that my waters, depending on proximity to the weekend have been known to be very, very wrong.

I think he is already ours if and when we are willing to meet Derbys fee. I wouldn't be shocked to see him come in next summer if he has a notable season.

I don't think we're done. We need another keeper, it's not an option for us to have just two. Nothing against Jones, but I doubt BR would be comfortable playing him multiple times a week if something happened to Mignolet.

Assiadi and Borini will wait till the last day then move on. They may not go to the teams that are after them now, there will be pressure mounting on some teams. Coates too.

Bayern would still need another good midfielder if they want to make it to the CL final again. They've actually got a few injuries, Schweini out again, Thiago out, Martinez out.. They played 3-4-3 with Alaba out of place and youngster Gaudino as the central two last game out, definitely could use Toni Kroos about now.

Our issue is the midfield to me it should look like this

           Coutinho
     Gerrard      Hendo
Or

              Hendo
      Gerrard       Lucas

We lack a real DM in this team, Gerrard playe there but it does not suit him, he cannot defend!
Song would be a good option it seems, but I don't know what BR has in mind: unfortunately(maybe) he seems to prefer Gerrard at DM.
