Aha no his not. I know your comment was tongue in cheek but I just wanna comment on the view if it wasn't a joke.

We may not have got Falcao or a Di Maria but the signings we brought in add real QUALITY into our side and allow Brendan to have many options at his disposal.

For the first time since has been here I feel he can fully flex his tactical muscles and be able to win matches with his starting  11 as equally as the substitutions he will make. As he will be able to tinker with formations effectively having the right personnel for each position.

At first I thought yeah we need that one player with real quality to replace Suarez that so called marquee signing. But we have something better, Brendan Rodgers. With his management and the strength in depth we have I see us going far, maybe not all the way this season but surely sometime soon.

It still can be seeing as he is not attached to any club and we can sign him anytime which is we are supposedly doing here shortly.

He's certainly a huge upgrade on Jones!  If we get him, we will have good quality and depth in every position!

Johnson walks into the team regardless of how well somebody has played in his absence. Doubt it would be the same with Migs though, I get the feeling that was more a signing to "fit the FSG profile" than a Rodgers really wanting him.

Very good point you make regarding Johnson. It could be down to not wanting to leave out somebody on the wages that Johnson is on but we've also had plenty of problems at full back for a few years. The other options weren't exactly great. I think Valdes suits Brendan's playing style a lot better (passing, long ball distribution, calmness on the ball, vocal communication etc.)

Pure muppetry but Paul Pogba is absolute quality for Juventus, and was a beast for France today against Spain. Would love him at Liverpool, very unrealistic obviously but I can dream.

It may be worth a gamble but I can now see why Mourinho sold him. He's a lazy f**ker who does no pressing, no tracking back, and is always easily out muscled. He's a talented player no doubt.

I would have said yes only im not sure he'd be an upgrade on what we have. Sterling looks like hes going to be on fire. Coutinho plays a role similar and we haven't even seen Lallana yet. In a 4 3 1 2 or a 4 3 3 where would he play and instead of who?

I personally don't think he'd fit in good a player as he is. I think as has been very well documented with him you have to play him central he doesn't have the legs for playing wide, and with Cou, Sterling and Lallana there's no need for another addition there.
Only reason y I throw it out there is obviously he's always been linked to us and I know many of us admire him

Rather spend 20M on an defensive midfielder and a backup goalkeeper.

Sterling right now is the best thing in the premier league f**k Falcao. And I don't think I'd rather have anyone in that 10 role right now other than Sterling and like many have said we then have Coutinho who on his day is brilliant, add to that Lallana and Suso who can play there, simply no need.

Shows how far we have come though in my eyes as 3 years ago Mata would have knocked many out of our midfield, now he'd be our plan E to start.
