Really like Toure already, could be an unbelievably astute signing.

Aspas always looks dangerous when he's on the pitch.

We seem to be playing the 4-3-3 Rodgers wanted
to last season, CBs split, Fullbacks providing width,
Lucas holding, 2 in front, inside FWs.

Toure with a nice challenge and good block then clearly marshalling the defence. Looks like Brendan might have had a word in his shell to be vocal.

I'm liking Toure aswell cant believe how quick he is for 32.

For a defender, that's not over the hill, Maldini being an excellent (if admittedly slightly extreme) example.

If a player is able to read and anticipate the game, then he doesn't have to be Usain Bolt.

Haven't watched much of these friendlies so far as I generally find them quite tedious and frustrating, but if he has a bit of speed about him, combined with his experience, then he could be a cracking asset.

Without being overly critical, I have found Skrtel, at times, to be caught a bit on the back foot.

Misplaced pass from Thailand went straight to Coutinho about 35 yards out, he beat 2 players twice (4 in total) dribbling to the edge of the box and simply sent the keeper the wrong way with his body shape on the shot. It was the swagger, confidence and ease of ability on an uneven pitch that made it so sublime.
