Valerenga 1:4 Liverpool (Pre-season friendly)

Our penultimate pre-season game and Liverpool will be hoping to continue with our impressive form of 5 games, 5 wins and 5 clean sheets, scoring 13 goals in the process.

With the likes of Agger, Skrtel, Johnson and Suarez being left at home due to injury concerns we will no doubt be a bit lightweight in defense however it will give us, the fans, the opportunity we've been waiting for to see how Kelly and/or Wisdom play at CB.

The squad in full is:

Jones, Enrique, Toure, Alberto, Gerrard, Aspas, Coutinho, Assaidi, Henderson, Coates, Downing, Spearing, Lucas, Mignolet, Allen, Borini, Sterling, Kelly, Flanagan, Ibe, Wisdom.

Honestly forgot Assaidi existed

Seems the best way to move on from the Suarez saga (in the wake of his official request to be allowed to leave for Arsenal) is to go out and thump Valerenga and show everyone we don't need the little c**t!!  I'll be hoping that this drama galvanizes the squad and the players who do want to be here can rally round one another. 

Hoping to see goals from Aspas, Sterling, and Coutinho tomorrow!!

I think it's a good team but we still lack quality in front, the Suarez replacement should be top class! abd we should buy another striker or good winger just for more competition and it would mean we are selling Downing!

Since they are a decent team,we should also put out a strong team for a good workout.

Allen got his chance and impressed but Hendo also deserves his opportunity. Also, gives us a fair idea who out of these two should be starting.

I was in the same boat until recently Mags. It's obviously easier to slip under the 'average footballer radar' when you don't cost much.

Another of my friends was laid to rest today, and a fellow red, more fanatical than I could ever hope to be, I hope he watches the lads play today form wherever he is, and the lads give him something to cheer about.

He's traveled mate and I think we might get to see him play CB with Toure.
