Pretty strong squad, figured Agger would be out after that crunch and figured Toure would be in for leadership...a bit taken back by Gerrard and Sturridge being in, I suppose the idea is to score a quick one or two and then rest them.

I like Sturridge being in for that reason but I don't like that he's played two full 90s after an injury with F**k all of a pre season. Hopefully we'll get the job done early enough for him to come off after an hour though.

Looking forward to seeing Alberto, Ibe and Sterling out there in a competitive fixture. I think the include of Sturridge is to try and get him match fit, which he isn't by his own admission. Can't see him playing 90 if we're winning.

I agree, an hour would be better than the full 90. Seeing as how we have the international break after the ManUre come to town the Tuesday-Sunday fixtures shouldn't be too much of a problem... although Sturridge, Stevie and the others going to play for their countries obviously throws a bit of a wrench into that break time. I wouldn't have minded if he went for Borini but if Sturridge can keep his form for Sunday we may be better off for it

Ibe and Sterling should be right up for this, especially Raheem given the links to Moses.

No Skrtel?    Did I miss something?  I thought sure he'd be playing in this one. Did he pick up a knock, or is he that far in Rodgers' doghouse?
