Brendan Rodgers makes three alterations to his side for Liverpool's FA Cup fifth-round clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

Brad Jones comes in for Simon Mignolet, Daniel Agger returns in place of Kolo Toure and Joe Allen is selected ahead of Jordan Henderson.

The Reds' vice-captain, Agger, last featured during their 2-0 FA Cup third-round win over Oldham at the start of January.

Allen returned to action as a 66th minute substitute as Liverpool thrashed the Gunners 5-1 at Anfield last Saturday - he mkes his first start since Chelsea in December.

Meanwhile, Joao Carlos Teixeira, who made his debut against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night, retains his place among the substitutes.

Happy enough with that team.

With that team we can beat anyone on our day. A replay away from home is not bad either but I think we are more than capable to beat them and dent their hopes furthermore.

Jones?

Probably as strong a side as we could put out with the obvious exception of Jones and presumably playing safe with Henderson's injury.

Happy enough with that although don't see the need to play Jones.

Very strong side, Hendo missing out because of surgery and to be honest probably needed a rest too. Will be good to see how Allen fits in to his role.

Great to see Agger back too. We already have the mental edge going into this one so as long as we start on the front foot their nerves will begin to jangle. Good strong start and I think the effects of the hammering could really push us on, big game, big performance and let's put ourselves in with a real shout of winning this.

No need to play Brad Jones at all.

I don't see any problem with playing Jones. For Henderson, it is a needed rest following his little injure. Allen can do a good job too.

agger for toure was expected

allen for hendo was semi expected due to hendo's surgery.  i really hope allen drank 10 bottles of red bull so he can harass arsenal players like hendo does

either way... solid team   quite happy with the boss' desire to progress.  lets get them lads!   the emirates is a tough place to play, so lets take it to them fast and furious






just saw arsenal's lineup.  monreal and arteta... surprised to see both again really.  i think we can definitely use our pace to exploit that again

Wow, Brad Jones? What's the need in resting Mignolet when we only have Swansea at home next week? Bizarre.

Concerned about Jones in goal, but hope he does well obviously. Arsenal with a mixed team, Ozil playing but not too worried about the team around him.

Why Brad Jones? Our defence has been a shambles lately and sh*t like this really doesn't help. Brad Jones is back up and should only play when Mignolet is injured.

Who scores first will decide this, they will be so deflated if it is us, we may struggle to break them down. They have hardly any creativitiy in midfield with Arteta\Flamini, there fullbacks wont get forward.....
