Cardiff City 3-6 Liverpool: In game and Post Match Hurrah's!

Brendan Rodgers has made just one change to his Liverpool line-up for today's Barclays Premier League clash against Cardiff City in the Welsh capital.

The manager will field a similar side to the one that dismantled Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend, bringing Philippe Coutinho in for Raheem Sterling.

Elsewhere, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge lead the line at the Cardiff City Stadium, with Joe Allen and Jordan Henderson partnering Steven Gerrard in front of an unchanged back four.

Good team selection there.  Coutinho needed to get playing again and hopefully can unpick their tight defensive set up and if not Raheem can come on and run rings round them instead 

Could be our highest scoring game of the season so far 

We need to go out with the right mentality and hunger!

Plenty of logic in that change expecting Cardiff to park the bus and of course the chance to bring Raheem on later fresh, just the thought would terrify any defender at the moment.

Expecting the 3 points today we should just have way too much for these and especially on the back of such a performance our confidence should be soaring.

I can see the sense in that line up and Brendan really does seem to think about the best side for each game this season.

Sterling should be a great option against tired legs.

Would have prefered Coutinho and Sterling with a 433 formation to stretch them out as I believe they'll be defending deep and tight in and around the box. Nevertheless, strong line up. Hope we can win today

i don't think that'll be a problem. it's rogers' biggest achievement imo, instilling that winning mentality and hunger. looking forward to this.

Bellamy and Campbell up front will cause problems with pace but the formation plays into Liverpool's hands. Cardiff are going to go for this which will leave space. If we can break their link up play there'll be huge holes to play the ball forward. YNWA
