Outstanding effort on the opening of the thread Clint, top marks and very much appreciated.
Really do expect us to absolutely batter these, back at home and that kind of reception will have all the lads blood running that bit hotter. With that in mind I expect us to start at 100mph and if we do manage to grab an early goal it could turn out to be a very good night for us.
Should we fall behind I still think we've got way more firepower than they can possibly cope with and while I don't think they'll roll in any way shape or form we'll just be too good.
I would say that I want to see a lot more for Joe Allen, I don't think he's done nearly enough in the past couple of games and needs to produce something that justifies him keeping his place other than simply being "tactically aware" and "working hard" which I believe both are a bit of a cop out when put under enough scrutiny.
Also if we go 3 ahead early I can easily see Stevie getting an early call to the bench just to try and protect him for the City game, as others have said though it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for him to pick up that booking tonight. Then he would be back and fresh for the City game, if he doesn't get a booking tonight it makes things really quite tricky for him and a tough decision for Brendan to make in the next couple of games.
All that aside though it really is quite simple, 3 points are a must tonight and deal with the next challenge after that job is done.
Come on lads!!
