UEFA Champions League 2014/15

Not really worried about drawing 2 big teams, big nights at Anfield will put us right back on the European map again.
I would love either Barca or Real to be in our group. What an occasion that would be.

I want as easy a draw as possible.

At the moment we don't look like we can withstand any sort of concerted opposition pressure and we just won't be able to qualify if we have to score 3 or more goals every game to win. I'm worried that this might be the case if we get the likes of Real and Dortmund in our group. However, by the time we reach the knockout stages our backline should be much more solid from having played with each other for a decent spell of time and we'll be a match for any big team.

He gives the ball away an awful lot. Still young so plenty of time to learn. Don't see what the hype is about at the minute though

Ha - just sensitive as there's been bit of friction between my boys today. Little 'un been winding his brother up something rotten.....and the big fella is getting bit tetchy!

He does give it away a lot Bri. Like I said when he has it he always looks neat and tidy and can take on a player but he contributes very little from what I've seen.

Ideal draw in my opinion would be Benfica/Porto,Basel and Malmo/Maribor. Worse draw would be RM,PSG/Dortmund and Roma.


I can't wait for that music to be blaring at Anfield once again. First time in years so balls to glamour games I want a relitively easy group and then we can deal with the bigger and better teams in the knockout stages. Ofcourse, now I've said that we'll get a group of death.

Yeah seen the end of extra-time after League Cup draw. That centre-back Moti fancied himself during the shoot-out, made two good saves as well.

It'll be nice to be back in the Champions League. Strangely enough I won't mind if we're knocked out in the group stage. Top 4 in the league is imperative this season with the increased Champions League money next year.

I saw on flashscorres that it is extra time and 10 minutes to ga and I tuned in to see penalties. Boy what a last 10 minutes. Goalkeeper made a foul for red in 120 minute te prevent goal and as they did not have any substitution left CB went in goal and saved two penalties. What a night for Ludogorets.
