If Brendan isn't happy with that shot then I hope he is as equally unimpressed with Sturridge's selfishness at times. Don't like it when one player receives negative treatment from a manager when another is being equally as bad in certain aspects.

We've not been a hell of a lot better, but we have been better. Sturridge could have had a couple if he was anywhere near sharp. Think Balo and Ibe playing well, Can better than them both. Migs, for what he's had to do, has been very good also.

Lovren has looked nervous and Sterling has looked disinterested, need more from both of them imo.

Not sure I can agree with the level of criticism being dished out in some quarters. This is a very controlled performance in a European away fixture in a fairly hostile atmosphere.

I think Balo will be subbed off around 60 min.

Thought we were the better team in the first half. They didn't create a lot. Odd shot. Our defense look solid, Toure slotted in well. Up front we're a bit patchy. Studge dwelling a bit on the ball again, Mario missing in action from the box sometimes when you think he might be in there.
Still and all, had a few chances - Sterling/Moreno/Studge - shots not v clean or enough power.
Encouraging, but need to keep them and the crowd quiet in the 2nd half ...

Excellent game management by the boys out there.

Restricted them to F**k all chances while creating a couple of decent for ourselves.

We wil bag at least 1 in the second half if not 2 when they get desperate for a goal.

Hopefully when they start getting desperate for a goal as the half goes on, plenty of space will open up and we can take advantage of it
