No, no, no. No way.
Mate, I am so against this 'give him a season or two thing' thing. We cannot afford to be waiting that long for a goalkeeper. It would cost less, long term, to just get rid and replace than give him that long.
Hopefully it won't come to that but the seriousness is that if he doesn't improve then that position alone can cost us our title chances and then our top four hopes. A decent keeper in goal the other day and we win that game.
If it was me and he was still not looking like saving the shots he should be and not improving his whole round game then early in January I'd be telling Migs he's surplus and either throwing money at it or getting Ward back. If not I'd even be looking at Manninger
Not many times I disagree with you WAHS but in this occasion I do,
Karius was not to blame for all the goals against Bournemouth, now I do admit tho he hasn't exactly lit up the goal posts he stands between either,
We have to look at the coach he works with, he's not entirely blameless in this, how many keepers has he had under his tutelage, but none have had glittering careers,??
Ultimately pitchside it's down to decisions and Karius when under pressure is far from what we require, but experience is what he needs so for now I'd stick with him, we're winning more than we're losing, we missed Matip Sunday, Lovren missed Matip clearly, the organisation was sh*t he played with Lucas without that understanding he had with Matip,
Carra noted the panic on MNF with Hendo getting in the way etc,
As we have seen Klopp is not a bad judge where players are concerned, he believes in Karius so let's trust his judgement, this is Karius first season, give the lad time, another season perhaps.
