If Karius gets dropped then Lovren should too, he was just as bad in that 2nd half.

Honestly I don't see that happening. Migs has never struck me as the most confident guy so I imagine his confidence is shot after being dropped. Equally Karius doesn't strike me as the most confident. We can't just chop and change keepers until one of them becomes decent.

Migs had his run and let's be honest, was sh*te, we all wanted him out the sticks and if he came back then we would all be back on him after his first mistake.

Dropping Karius now just makes the issue spread to him, we just have to hope he can ride through this and come out the other side.

      Well said.

Didn't Klopp say for us to progress, we may have to take 2 steps back (something along those lines) on the GK situation before?

Anyway, I agree, just give Karius a season or two, Migs had his chance, so I don't see why Karius shouldn't. We just need to be patient and hope potential can turn into exceptional/world class.

And so was Milner and Origi. Drop them too? Milner was especially poor.

      No, no, no. No way.

Mate, I am so against this 'give him a season or two thing' thing. We cannot afford to be waiting that long for a goalkeeper. It would cost less, long term, to just get rid and replace than give him that long.

Hopefully it won't come to that but the seriousness is that if he doesn't improve then that position alone can cost us our title chances and then our top four hopes. A decent keeper in goal the other day and we win that game.

If it was me and he was still not looking like saving the shots he should be and not improving his whole round game then early in January I'd be telling Migs he's surplus and either throwing money at it or getting Ward back. If not I'd even be looking at Manninger

What an absolutely abysmal thing to say!
Manninger has literally came in to use his experience and knowledge to bring out the best in our young keeper. He is not even an option in my eyes, he has never been a first choice keeper for a good team!

Not many times I disagree with you WAHS but in this occasion I do,
Karius was not to blame for all the goals against Bournemouth, now I do admit tho he hasn't exactly lit up the goal posts he stands between either,

We have to look at the coach he works with, he's not entirely blameless in this,  how many keepers has he had under his tutelage, but none have had glittering careers,??
Ultimately pitchside it's down to decisions and Karius when under pressure is far from what we require, but experience is what he needs so for now I'd stick with him, we're winning more than we're losing, we missed Matip Sunday, Lovren missed Matip clearly, the organisation was sh*t he played with Lucas without that understanding he had with Matip,
Carra noted the panic on MNF with Hendo getting in the way etc,

As we have seen Klopp is not a bad judge where players are concerned, he believes in Karius so let's trust his judgement, this is  Karius first season, give the lad time, another season perhaps.

Think he's done a fantastic job and wouldn't change him for the world.

Shame his players let him down today.
Let us all down , lets hope they're gona make it up to us in the coming weeks.

      The Hodgson and Rodger's threads.

      "Clint"!!

I guess it helps that Klopp and the players don't hear us online like they do in the stadium.

Did people not groan at Dortmund?

Probably less to groan about when you're paying less than €20 for your ticket and two beers!
