I've never seen a game like it. I think we could have played 'til midnight and we'd still not score!

      We'll play the kids again.

Will give them more game time.

      Not a big deal.

But the likes of Sturridge, Firmino etc. will still have to travel down there and will get some game time.

We can go on about the number of young players who started but Can, Moreno and Origi - the seniors we looked to - well, their performances were woeful.

You really expect better from senior players and they played like a bunch of pros who didn't take their smaller opponents seriously.

Not worth the Liverpool shirt that.

This now means we'll have: Southampton (Wed 11th), Man United (Sun 15th), Plymouth (Tue 17th/Wed 18th), Swansea (Sat 21st), Southampton (Wed 25th), possibly a 4th round game on the 28th/29th and then Chelsea (Tue 31st).

We needed a break somewhere in there but we now have a trip to Plymouth instead.

Same as last season with Exeter mate.

Plymouth parking the bus is no excuse for us not beating them. We gave them too much respect and our decision making in attack was useless.

They aren't a premier league team FFS, they are a team 2 divisions below us.

We were poor, our senior players were shocking, while some of our youngsters even out preformed them.

All you can say is well done to Plymouth. This is why I love the FA Cup more than any other cup competition.
Yep,they came for draw & that's exactly what they got.

3 divisions, they're in League Two. One division about non-league.

The point is it still will involve most of the staff travelling to and from hence not preparing for the PL. Game we could have very much done without

Lots of possession but did very little with it. For those questioning why Klopp didn't rotate the squad for the Sunderland game, this is why.
Our main squad is paper thin at the moment.  :-\

They were negative alright but if we're honest they were just as likely to score as us in that second half. We were bloody awful.

Think we'll go with the kids for the replay again but I don't fancy our chances if we play like that.

Well that was a waste of a game.

Let's take off the rose tinted glasses and come down to reality. Our young lads need to go and practice their football, and hopefully we won't see them again this season. They are poor. No way near Premier League quality.

Yes they went up against a 10 man defence.. but their passing was slow, predictable, boring and offered no threat. Crossing was a shambles, and the corners were pathetic. What were they trying to do? I know they're excited to play at Anfield in front of the fans, but come on, that was a really poor performance. We could have played for 10 hours and still not scored.

The only threat ever came from Sturridge, and he hardly had the ball.

the fringe first team players dont seem to learn.

moreno - cant pass for toffee - and doesnt seem to learn from it. he must of had 20+ opportunities to find a team mate

origi - wants to touch the ball 888 times whilst in the box, or the trusted drop your shoulder on the right hand side of the box trick. he also shows the strength of Bambi at times

can - brute force, zero composure

      lucas - bon voyage

some of the youngsters also swan around with the swagger of Balotelli - pull your socks up and try harder

disappointing performance - but were still in it. just a shame that we now have to play another match

Origi was the worst of the bunch IMO. Offered absolutely F**k all up front, didn't look like he wanted to be there.

F***ing embarrassing, FFS Klopp go and buy some players, none of this hippy sh*t about developing all the players from the academy, it won't work when they are mostly sh*te who can't get though a 3rd tier team and score.

These things happen. we could have won by a bucket load, but some poor finishing and terrible final balls let us down.

Great experience for the younglings though, same team in the replay, they will have to attack more, whcih leave some space at the back to hopefully punish them.

      I don't think so.

What were you expecting them to do? No chance were they going to come out and play.

They knew an early goal would kill the game so they put everyone behind the ball in the first half. In the second half, whilst they didn't exactly open up, they had a bit more adventure and looked just as likely to score as us. They knew it was the only way they'd get a result and they executed it brilliantly. It was up to us to unlock them today and we never looked like doing it.

They'll have a go in the replay for sure and if we play like we did today then we'll be out of the Cup.
