The same thing happened with Klopp in his last season at Dortmund.

He had a few injuries early in the season and it all fell apart.

He needs his first 11 fit and firing at full throttle all season or it doesn't work.

Sort of the opposite to Pep who rotates regularly to keep the squad fresh all season.
