I think Rafa will rotate kuyt for Crouch & we may see Finnan return...but I'm sure Crouch will feature from start.

sorry locals but this for me is the game of games Liverpool utd. Everything about them boils my blood. The hype that surrounds them is way over the top. The way people (sky sports mostly) seem to think that utd are Englands best and seem to forget football pre 1992.

As bitter as Everton are these are worse. Singing about us no matter who they play I love nothing more then beating the c**ts and we re due one.

Set out the stall early boys lets go crashing into them with hard tackles straight away and every time they kick you Nando get up and laugh at them. We are better then these no doubt. One thing tho Rafa dont play Riise play Arbeloa and Finnan as full backs they can deal with Ronaldo Riise wouldnt!

Crouch up top with Nando for me also

Reina
Finnan
Carra
hyppia
arbeloa
yossi
stevie
masch
kewell
crouch
torres

Cant wait for Sunday. Lets have Anfield rocking COME ON REDMEN

Sorry to be the pissamist here but I think this will be a 0-0 draw as both teams may well keep tight at the back, however if Torres can make room from a long ball we may win it. But I feel a very cautious approach from both managers will see honours ending even in this one. My team for this

Reina
Finnan
Carra
hyppia
arbeloa
yossi
stevie
masch
kewell
crouch
torres

That's the exact lineup I would go with mate. I know Riise wasn't bad against Marseille but I don't have the confidence in him having two good games in a row anymore. I don't think there'll be any big scorelines but we can definitely nick this 1-0.

That teams got nice shape left, right & through the middle...if Babel plays ahead of Kewell I'll eat my hardrive! Sure Babel good to be on bench to come on but get Kewell out there first he's got the experience in these types of high profile Prem' games.

Agree comments above, that line-up is THE one.

Harry K starting a must with Babel coming on again last 30mins...

I think Crouchy should start too - will be fresh, along with Finnan.

Can we invest in an oxygen tank for Sami H por favor... poor guy at his age too... can he deliver TWO BIG game performances within 4.5 days? I really, really, really hope so.

I think Hyypia will pull it out the bag for United! Wink Too big a game to miss, or make a mistake in!

Crouchy should be hungry, and should bear in mind that wonderful FA Cup header!.....

Rafa never picks the same team as me tho lads  Grin

Seriously 1 nil id take now but I dont see any reason why if we get an early goal we cant do to these what weve done to a lot of teams this season and steamroll them. Stevie and masch would dominate there middle torres and crouch would terrorise the 2 centre halfs harry and yossi will always give ye something as will sami and carra.  Go and get about them show them no respect and see what they are made of

the reds taught marseille a lesson in football and now its time to teach united one and show just how good we r! cant wait 2 see torres running rings around there defence Grin

hope its the same line up as against marseille except babel on the right in place of benayoun, mainly due to his blistering pace and he would get the better of evra where as I don't think yossi would. if finnan is still not back to full fitness then the same back for but if he is then riise to drop to the bench.

I'm predicting a 4-0 score, Gerrard to open scoring after 13 minutes with an absolute rocket and then torres to score a hat trick of gr8 goals like the one against marseille (all at the kop end) Grin

then we will beat chelsea on wednesday and it will be a perfect christmas Cheesy

Good shout.

No respect at all.

Go for them big style from minute one... another early goal and Sunday could be historic - I really believe it.

Come on you Reds, hurt that Scum... badly.

I agree Eddie, all jokes apart they are a very good side!
it will be 1-0   2-1 very close, and hopefully a good game.
But it really is time we showed these fu***rs who we are!!
I was depressed loosing last week - loosing to Manu would finish me off.
Anyway I have the utmost confidence in our Manager and Team.

I think Gillette's (Sr and Jr) hearts are in the club/"franchise"... maybe unlike Hicks (who was brought in lastminute.com style to make up the number$ vs the Dubai bid).

I suspect Rafa will have a brilliant meeting with the yanks... he is much better face to face... will probably impress more than Parry!

Haven't heard much from Parry recently have we?

Once the T's have been crossed and the I's dotted on the stadium sager, then I can see Parry being surplus to requirements and JNR taking over.
Still I can't be to hard on Parry cos he's always got one saving grace - he discovered our Manager!!!!

Top comments, 101% in agreement on both counts.

He is probably already looking for another job...

He won't be short of a penny though, was paid handsomely as Premiership CEO (and at LFC too from what I've heard) ...and I'm sure Mr Moores will be (or has already) deposited a nice healthy bonus towards the Parry family Christmas fund (off-shore probably too... doesn't your heart bleed for the guy?) for brokering the buy-out process/bids.

Hope Gillette is wearing a nice white beard to go with the rest of the Santa looks... we could do with a Masch needed gift for Christmas... nice front-row Villa would be nice too!!

Nice team, although Rafa will probably rotate some of those players you know, I think that Liverpool will win 2-0, I would actually prefer to fo what they did in the smash and grab last season - love to soak up pressure, and then score in injury time to win 1-0, wouldn't that be sweet. Even sweeter if we got Heinze and he scored the winner but life goes on...

I can't wait either for this game, this is probably the most important game of the season so far, Marseille was important in it's own right but nothing like this. I really hope we could pass them 4 but realistically I would take a 1-0 victory. 2-1 with a last 30 yards screamer from........Steve off course.
