Was expecting a little bit more on the Liverpool side of things but it is certainly an interesting read.
I'd agree with what Hicks had to say about the manc game - although I reckon he might have got that from opinions of some other people. I reckon we have been a uptight when we've played the mancs lately though. We need that mental edge to shift over.
You can bet your damn cowboy boots on that one Hicks! It's high time you 'know' the fans are serious fans and quit 'thinking' they are!
I honestly believe Rafa wanted to win the match as bad as Hicks, but judging from what Hicks had mentioned, does he expects Rafa to put 12 men past the halfway mark, knowing how dangerous the scums can be when on the attack? That would be suicidal and we may get hit 1/2 a dozen. I wouldn't fault Rafa's tactics and the commitment of the players, we could all see that we dominated the game while the scums played it tight, not only us which Hicks failed to mention and it's not easy for the boys, perhaps a bit overly cautious on our end at times and more clinical finish in front of the goal would have helped, I'd admit so.
There's no such word as "thinking" and every fan in this forum and elsewhere are "serious" fans, he need to read more into the history of the club. He sounds more of an empty vessel and a broken record than anything else. He is truly annoying at times.
