Im a bit surprised that San Jose and Nemeth havent been called into the squad. Having said that Rafa is a good pro and obviously wants to finish as strong as possible. 2 or 3 names there could be in a Liverpool squad for the last time.

Me too... maybe Wednesday night might have taken a lot out of them.

But two big games in one week should be good experience for the lads...

I also agree with those two you name, Nemeth and San Jose both ready (add Plessis and Insua) for the big time next season... the rest will come in time (season after next, Pacheco looks one hell of a player).

Shocking to see Nemeth and San Jose out of the squad again. Nemeth I think deserves it more than anyone in the reserves in all respect. Maybe looking to unleash him next season hungry for a spot.

Should be a good entertaining game with nothing on hand but pride. 3-2 to us.

Cant we just go there and beat those spudheads 4-0 please oh please what joy that would give me. They are going to try and rub our noses in it because they won the Carling Cup or milk cup or worthington cup or tea cup or whatever its called these days. I just want us to go there win but a big win none the less.

We should finish the season on a high. I think we will get a couple of goals, although it is going to be a very tight match. I doubt we will steam through the game, it will be quite close.

Hope Torres manages to break Ruud's record, he does deserve to and it will be great for him and the club if he manages to do so.

Totttenham desperate for a win here.

I'd like to see Liverpool play full strength and win by a huge margin. The last encounter ended 2 - 2.

I think Rafa will play his usual formation and will field a strong team, just with Insua at left back and Plessis in midfield.

Things you can expect to see in this match and after it Wink

1. Torres score at least 2 and break the record
2. Voronin, Riise and maybe Crouch come on in the 2nd half and play in the mighty red shirt for the last time
3. Who ever the 3rd team is to be relegated, even though it will be nothing to do with our result Neil Warnock will come out and say we got them relegated for playing 2 youngters in the team
4. Put in a great performance and still get slated
5. There will be no hype about Torres breaking the record, instead Hicks will again say he will buy out Gillette and all will forget about El Nino

(It also sort of sounds like a description of our league season on the hole)

4-0, Torres 2, Gerrard, Insua Wink

A mix of youth and experienced players should start this game IMO and those who don't start should come on after.  Would like to see Plessis and Insua start along with El Zhar with Torres for this last game to a interesting season.

Lets hope we finish the season with a good win,I would definitely like to see Torres score a couple and the likes of Insua and Plessis to get a game.Any player that RAFA has considered to be surplus to requirements should not play,I also think REINA should play as he has played in all the league games which is quite an achievement these days=Well done Pepi.

Torres & Reina both have to start for me as they've both got records they can set, and I'd try not to play the guys we're planning on selling in case they get injured & we're stuck with them. The only exception I would make is Crouch, who is looking ever more likely to leave the club. I feel he's been really hard done by this season after the performances he put in last season, and has never really had his chance to show if a partnership with Torres could work.

My line-up would look something like:

                  Reina

 Arbeloa  Skrtel   Carra   Insua

  Yossi   Gerrard  Plessis  Babel

             Torres  Crouch

There's obviously nothing but pride to play for in this game, and a lot of players minds will undoubtedly be on Euro 2008 so I don't expect to see a game played at 100mph with tackles flying in left right and centre. I still think this side will have enough to see off Spurs though, and I'll go for 2-0.

Doubt Crouch will play due to risk of injury (sale risk).

I expect

                   Reina

 Arbeloa  Skrtel   Carra   Insua

  Yossi    Masch   Plessis  Babel
                 Gerrard

                 Torres

JAR, Crouch, Xabi, Voro, Finnan, Pennant, CharlieI = Exit boys = will not play unless really needed.

Crouchinho my friend... don't you think Pennant on his way?

I hope he is ...IF the likes of a Silva joins us...
