Former Blues boss confirmed by Serie A champions

Internazionale have confirmed Jose Mourinho as their new manager as successor to Roberto Mancini.

The hugely successful Portuguese tactician was the red hot favourite to succeed Mancini after he was sacked by the Giuseppe Meazza outfit last week.

Mourinho has been out of work since September after being sacked by Chelsea following a bust-up too many with owner Roman Abramovich and a slow start to the Premier League season.

The 45-year-old enjoyed a successful three-year spell in English football, helping Chelsea to win the Premier League and League Cup twice, the FA Cup and the Community Shield.

He was also strongly linked with the England job following Steve McClaren's sacking, however, The FA opted to go for Italian Fabio Capello.

The former Porto boss has signed a three-year deal with the Serie A champions, who claimed a third successive Scudetto last season.

It was just going to happen, wasn't it?  Expect quite a few transfers going to Inter from Chelsea during the summer.

Apparently he wants Calvalho (sp?), Drogba and Lampard.

Chelsea will get a bit of the spine ripped out of them. Especially with the fact they don't have a manager who may talk players into staying and such.

There was an nteresting article in the Game section in the Times called, "You'll need to be more than Special, Jose Mourinho" by Gabriele Marcotti. It basically that he has got a very tough job on his hands. Mancini did a great job after all, winning the title 3 times in a row. Mourinho has to win the champions league... so maybe he  will be praying that Inter Milan don't play Liverpool in the semi - finals of the champions league

It's just a pity that he wasn't in charge of Inter when Torres burst the onion bag in the San Siro, that would of been sweet!

I've got a good feeling about this, the good feeling that mourhino won't stay more then 1 year in charge and got the sack with Inter having a disastrous season. Let's face it, when at Porto he did win the Champions League and the portugese title (although they just been convinced of match fixing...and mourhino wouldn't have been aware of it???..yeah right) but that was a fluke, a bit like Greece winning the EURO.

 Then Chelsea, well any manager (Avrant proved that) would do relatively well with the money available..

Now Inter, humm much more difficult, it's this year that mourhino will have to show that he is a good coach or not , I think he will crash big time. Mark my words..

mourinho has already told many inter players that they will not be at the club next season, it is thought 10-11.
