Never mind that result, Doncaster Rovers, newly promoted (in the conference only years ago) away at Derby (formerly of the Premiership).

      1-0 to Donny!

      Well played.

Richie Wellens is a great player at Doncaster. Poor Derby, hope they didn't start as they mean to go on! Paul Jewell has a job on his hands there, morale must be rock bottom and then some!

Just watch a dull 0-0 draw with Reading and new side Nottingham Forrest.

Well played Donny. Great result yesterday at Pride Park.

I want Ipswich to come up this year, Jim Magilton ex red, always had a soft spot for them anyway an they've got great fans.

      From the BBC site:

1514: Remarkable story coming in from Burnley... the game against Ipswich has been delayed after a parachutist got stuck on the roof. The unfortunate fella was one of seven scheduled to land inside the ground but he misjudged his landing.

1540: More comedy capers at Turf Moor. The fire engine to remove the stranded parachutist on top of the roof has arrived, but a car is blocking its progress so an announcement has been made. Burnley v Ipswich yet to kick off.

1556: The game between Burnley and Ipswich will kick off at 1600 BST. The parachutist is still stuck on the roof, but they're going to press on regardless. Does that mean he's got a free ticket?

The early runners are Wolves (Darren Potter) and Preston (Neil Mellor)...couple of old boys coming home next year.

Adam Hammill and Blackpool are 15th on four points as is Paul Anderson's Notts Forest in 16th, both two points ahead of the drop zone.

Cardiff are unbeaten so far but travel to Derby who have just broken their 'curse' of a year without a win.

      C'mon City :D

That parachute thing was quality!! Made me laugh so much when I heard!

Neil Mellor scored again at the weekend. 3 goals in the league now, which has saw Preston get up to third.

Wolves and Birmingham still leading the way in the automatic promotions, but at the other end Barnsley, Forest and Saints are in trouble in the early stages. Forest will come good though when Paul Anderson returns. Adam Hammill and Blackpool are now 10th, just one point behind Reading in 6th (the play off positions).

It's probably too early to be talking about champions, playoffs and relegations though.

Derby v Forest match is a cracker. Stuart Atwell has made it boss by being a sh*t ref.

He sent a Forest player for a foul that was a yellow at best. Derby then scored a winner in the 92nd minute but Atwell ruled it out and gave the Rams a penalty for handball that never was and Derby missed the pen because of a good save by Lee Camp (former Derby keeper). Then from the resulting corner Derby won the header which Camp made a great save again. Then from the resulting corner Derby again won the header, this time scored and Atwell ruled it out for a free kick that wasn't.

sh*t ref, but made it enteratining. It's finished 1-1.

Welsh derby today, 5.30 kick off, could be a play off decider since they're both 4th and 5th, going to be a mental atmosphere as usual, probably more violent now that It's a late kick off and everyone will be drunk by then.
