2nd leg this Wednesday and I can't bloody wait.

First European game of the season at Anfield.

We HAVE to win on the night, a draw puts them through (except 0-0 which still gives them a chance of penalties) Hopefully it'll be the game that Robbie Keane gets the monkey off his back and puts us through to the group stage. I'd be happy with any win.

Reina, Arbeloa, Carra, Skrtel, Dossena, Pennant, Alonso, Gerrard, Babel, Keane, Torres would be my startin 11. Bench is anybody's guess.

Anfield is always buzzin on European nights, won't be any different this Wednesday.

I'm going to this match  Grin so were bound to win,   Wink 4-1 for me, I'm feeling very optimistic......

Keane Torres Gerrard & Agger

I think we'll score first, but they'll equalise before half time, then attacking the kop in the second half, they'll run out of steam and we'll hammer 3 past them.

Our performance against Boro was better than the first 2 games and im sure that  against Liege we will see even more of an improvement.

Im going to predict a 4-0 win as I have a very good feeling about this game Wink

Torres 2, Gerrard, Keane Wink

F**k that.  I really haven't got the time, or necessary life expectancy for a 'cagey' 1-0.

We best finish this tie in the first half or there will be hell to pay.

Javi and Lucas are not available to play this game as they were not put on the squad list by Rafa because of the Olympics.

Fair enough.  Wouldn't have expected them to play anyway.

3-0 win for Liege at the weekend

Standard Liege 3 - 0 KVC Westerlo

Toama got the first goal before Mbokani added 2 more either side of the half-time interval.

They're currently top with two wins out of two just like us, and they have an away game on Friday evening after the trip to Liverpool.

I've got a feeling that they'll come for the draw and have 11 men behind the ball for the majority of the match. We're gonna need to be creative and inventive if we want to break them down.

Got to get out the blocks and attack with venom early, like we did against Marseille away last season.

Like JD, I can't cope with anything cagey on Wednesday. We have to destroy them and have the game done with by half time.

The 12th Man is gonna be vital on Wednesday, make it a proper 'European Night' or there won't be anymore this season - doesn't bear thinking about does it really ?  Undecided
