EDIT: (Here's where I lose all street cred...) with the exception of one or two songs I really liked the "Once" soundtrack.

Dunno if that loses cred mate! I actually haven't seen the film, but me and Laura saw that band live in Eugene last November and they were brilliant. Beautiful music.

Loved the movie Once too actually, and the soundtrack as well, though it's probably hard to just like one and not the other.

Yeah, and i really do recommend seeing the band (The Swell Season) live if you have the chance. They are great.

I actually have mate, saw them in Paradiso here in Amsterdam last february, had a fantastic evening, great performance, my girlfriend adores them.

In regards to the Wedding Singer, I used to have a small crush on Drew Barrymore when I was younger, though not anymore, don't know what happened there, I grew up?

Haha. My wife actually didn'tt care for Once and she's generally less forgiving than I am where movies & music are concerned. I'm the lone fan in this house, I'm afraid. Swell Season is playing a free show in Prospect Park at the end of July and I'm looking to get there. The next day is Sonic Youth. Two nights before is The National and Beach House. All free. All in the park. The wine will be flowing.

I have the blu-ray of the movie, and it has the soundtrack in 5.1 dolby on the special features disc. Shook the bloody room!

Forrest Gump has an amazing soundtrack.

Don't know if anyone mentioned it, but The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack is pretty great.

I've always liked the West Side Story soundtrack, as well.

Used to love the Train Spotting soundtrack, also Pulp Fiction was cool as well.

Showing my age, but I always thought the Topgun soundtrack was very good.
