Belgrades support is like that week in week out even at the training sessions and at the academy games.

      That seems rather.....mental.

Hmm, I think I prefer tourists to half-witted, violent, racist scumbags.

      Call me old-fashioned.

Very pleased we haven't had to play Millwall in the league for years. Remember watching them at Anfield back in the late 80s and being showered with glass after the match. Lovely lads.

In retrospect, walking around thinking like I was "Johnny 2 tellys" was indeed ill-advised.

Your answer to a lack of atmosphere is to make the stadium BIGGER?

My comment about that was tongue in cheek mate, although I wouldn't say no to a 90,000 stadium.

Anfield's (relative) lack of noise is nothing new and it's just as much the "lifers" who've had season-tickets for years that are responsible. And quite understandably. Some 50 year old bloke is hardly going to be as likely to sing as a 16 year old. They're grown men.

Exactly right, over 40 and we run out of energy too quickly.

Say you're American, wear the full kit (shirt, shorts, socks, shinpads and boots), have a camera around your neck and you will get a ticket for the Derby.

Can't see there being much of a problem with noise at the Derby at least! Hatred is great for creating an atmosphere.

Was a problem with fans leaving before the final whistle again, though this time they were wearing blue. ;)

10 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat at home so far. Only Man City are better than us at home, while Chelsea has the same number of points with 1 less game (10 wins and 1 draw). That's a very welcome improvement in comparison to the past few seasons.

I'd like to think a home game, in the evening, against the bitters when they are so close to us would have been a great atmosphere.

If it wasn't then the problems are even bigger than we thought.

Atmosphere looked electric from the pub I was watching it in from London. Wish I was there.

      Amazing night.

It was bouncing on Tuesday night.......best atmosphere I've experienced all season and I've been to every game.

      A) It helps that it's a night game.

      B) It's against our nearest and bitterest rivals

      C) Everyone on the KOP stood up for the whole game, no stewards telling us to sit down which creates a much better atmosphere and fans seem to want to sing more stood up.

      D) We played so brilliantly anyway that everyone was up for it on Tuesday.

Good to see and hear, I'm going to WBA on Sunday and I'm expecting the travelling KOP to make some noise !!!!! cant wait !!!
