      Gerrin there...Fernando Alonso.

5/1 to win today's GP - oh what joy when Schuey broke down.

The morale of the story - always place a bet on anybody who shares a name with a Liverpool star...

The Tiger currently 9/4 to win the Open.

Luke Donald and Phil Mickleson are at 25/1.

I've started using this link for a few bets.

      http://www.adrianmassey.com/

It's a computer generated program that picks out the order of the gee gee's in most race meetings.

I try and pick 4 horses and bet doubles. (6 chances of winning), it's only for fun and bet £1 per double.
Best win so far £48.70 and today picked up £16.30.
No doubt, I'll get brave and lose big time  >:(

Just threw a fiver on AC Milan to win the Champions League.

Worth a punt at 70/1 given their recent record in the competition.  It'll hopefully come in when they qualify and I can lay the bet to profit both ways.

      Nice one Crouchie.

2 days ago I was having a look at the form guide and noticed a horse at odds named Rafa.

Thought why the F**k not, put a fiver on it, forgot about it and it got up but only ended up paying 4 bucks for the win. Nice $20 in the account though, no complaints here.

I saw that racing, I missed out on it. Was going to get on it too for a little omen bet. Was either Rafa, or a Torres greyhound or something.

Opened another account simply to get the $100 free bet and won again. $210 this time. Will transfer in to my account and then shut that account down and keep the one open.

Yesterday logged on 3 minutes before a race, saw it was 2000m and only one rider had a claim of 1.5kgs, thought put a dollar each way on it at 36 dollars on the tote. Got up, paid $70.70 for the win and $12 for the place. Happy days $82 dollars for a $2 investment.

      F***ing gutted.  >:(

Looking at the races today and saw in the last race at Morphetville, horses called Rafa and Scouse running in the same race, have backed them both as winners before.

PM'd Crouchie to say to get on but he never responded.

Put them in in a boxed exacted to come 1st an2nd then looked at the form and thought put another exacta with the raging favourite (some F***ing other horse) and Rafa.

You wouldn't F***ing read about it but Scouse got up and paid $19.90 for the win and some donkey ran 2nd. Never put anything on Scouse by itself.

Yeah mate basically whatever the handicap is you add that to their score, and if their score+ the handicap is more than the other teams score (without handicap) you win

      E.G New Zealand 37 - 17 France with a plus 18 handicap for france = 37 - 35 (bet loses)

had france kicked one more penalty so it was 37 - 20 the bet would have won by a point 37-38

Had a £10 on each of the Liverpool vs Chelsea games at 3/1 for both so that was some quick money :D

Couldn't believe we were still 3/1 for the second game after already beating them, had to put another on.

Luckily, I didnt bet on the Fulham game.

Tennis is the best sport to bet on. Especially during Grand Slams when there is ridiculous value everywhere.

Made about $2k the past week from the Aussie Open. Mainly from Stan Wawrinka winning in 3 vs Querrey @ $4.50.

Could of been much more but Lukas Kubot lost in 5 sets in the first round when it was the only leg in my 14 leg multi that lost.

On Radwanska and Ferrer today in a double. Radwanska in 3 and Ferrer in 4 sets @ $15.

Got a tip off me old man's mate. Very rare he pops up with one and i probably get 3 good to 1 bad off him.

      Anyway:

Clondaw Knight in the 2.40 at Ascot today. Probably get 3/1 on it so I'll probably stick £30 on him.

      Bet365
      Paddypower

Would be my two recommendations above all others.

For horse racing only and ability to do some tricky combination bets that most other bookies wont take go for Racebets.

      Avoid:

Betbright: Their best odds guaranteed don't work with multiples (found this out the hard way, backed a 11/4 and 7/2 double, came in at 3/1 5/1 and lost myself £300 due to them being complete dickheads.)

I would open an account with everyone though just to abuse the freebets, any time around major festivals is the best time to do this as they actually more attractive.

      Good luck!

*Note about below, was written thinking you meant the Ebor which this horse ran in yesterday  :lmao:

Only just saw this mate, I've won and lost a lot on that horse this year. When you look through the form of the winner (33/1) there was a good chance I could have picked it if it hadn't been off for over 400 days, great training performance.

Mullins (same trainer as Clondaw) nearly won the race with his second string Wicklow Brave who has cost me an enormous amount of money in the past.

My mate who is well into his athletics has given me some tips, but they're not the best prices in the world if anyone is interested:

      Gone for an accumulator on:

      Mo Farah (10k mens)
      Kiprop (1500m mens)
      Sum (800m womens)
      Dibaba (1500m womens)
      Ibarguen (Triple Jump womens)
      Perkovic (Discuss womens)
      Fajdlek (Hammer mens)

and a little mess about with having to get 6 out these 7:

      Gatlin (100m mens)
      Van Niekerk (400m mens)
      B. Jackson (400m hurdles mens)
      G. Rutherford (Long Jump mens)
      Chichereva (High Jump womens)
      Bartoletta (Long Jump womens)
      Ennis-Hill (Heptathlon womens)

wont win loads if I got either up but it's nice to have a little interest.

      Good luck!

      Thanks mate
