My my how the BBC are dumbing down, I'll be giving this a miss in the future I thought Savage was low but Neville......

I actually don't mind Savage because no matter who the players is he will happily slate them if they mess up or are just generally crap etc, instead of trying to remain impartial and trying to please everyone like all the others do. He doesn't agree with an opinion he will happily let them know they are talking rubbish.

It's good to have Leicester City back in the Premier League. Was 13 the last time they were playing in the league with Micky Adams as manager and Ian Walker in goals and Dickov and Marcus Bent up front as I recall!

Still calling their ground the Walkers Stadium though!

One of the biggest shitholes along with Selhurst Park I've been to.

The turnstile in the F***ing house to the away end still makes me laugh though.

The all seated version or the terraced Dell.

One ground never been to, but that stand roof behind the goal when they redeveloped was F***ing odd.

Does he realise that he has a microphone and doesn't need to shout.  Also shouting exactly what everyone can see is not good commentary.

Shearer seems even more arrogant and full of himself this season being the main man now.

Thought he was a complete w**ker before, and after reading Bellars' autobiography it confirmed I was correct.

The conduct of the confirmed w**ker.
The BBC have identified what they see as an essential quality in MOTD pundits and seem to have encouraged Shearer to exaggerate the w**ker aspects endemic to his character, the plan is working.

I know it might seem petty but just the way he chirps in with adjectives when people are describing something positive gets on my tits. Like part of it is his idea, normally wouldn't bother me but when it's added to the other characteristics it makes him an extremely annoying person to listen to.

Someone's had a word mate to the effect: ''if you carry on like this Alan, being a complete c**t, sooner or later you're gonna be presenting the show''.

Not only that, he's completely clueless as well. Hardly ever provides any insight that you might end up thinking "that's interesting" or "I hadn't noticed that". I remember Lee Dixon used to do that to me. Shearer is just a cliché machine. I usually download MOTD as I can't watch it live, and lately I've found myself skipping the commentary parts and just watching it for the highlights.
