I actually don't mind Savage because no matter who the players is he will happily slate them if they mess up or are just generally crap etc, instead of trying to remain impartial and trying to please everyone like all the others do. I know it might seem petty but just the way he chirps in with adjectives when people are describing something positive gets on my tits. Like part of it is his idea, normally wouldn't bother me but when it's added to the other characteristics it makes him an extremely annoying person to listen to.

I remember Lee Dixon used to do that to me. Shearer is just a cliché machine. I usually download MOTD as I can't watch it live, and lately I've found myself skipping the commentary parts and just watching it for the highlights.
