Me thinks Shearer scored one too many headers.

Someone's had a word mate to the effect: ''if you carry on like this Alan, being a complete c**t, sooner or later you're gonna be presenting the show''.

Interesting thought mate, I sincerely hope not.

      Agreed completely fella.

Me thinks Shearer scored one too many headers.

      Haha, certainly would make sense.

They're making Spurs sound like F***ing world beaters on here :lmao:

They played a sh*t QPR team ffs. Dunne, Ferdinand, Caulker and Green in goal is an embarrassing defence.

I backed Spurs for 4-0, 5-0 too and was surprised it was 20/1 70/1, thought had a good chance at the 70/1 but still.

Although did back Sunderland for 2-1, 3-1, shame they really are quite toothless in attack even against that shocking United defence.

Honestly when United or QPR come against Us or City they are going to get annihilated.

I thought it was odd considering nothing official has come out yet that we signed him

Yep, to be fair the whole banter and mood in that studio for the analysis was so much better than the main show. Sack the lot of them and get in Brad when he retires, cracking perspective, fair, accurate and articulate, what a refreshing change.

I'm not too keen on him but I've seen far worse.

I was one that liked Colin Murray on MOTD2 and thought his style suited the show.

We should put serous feelers on Brad Friedel joining the coaching staff at Melwood when he eventually retires such a clever charming guy

He was quite possibly the best pundit at the World Cup as well.  Well spoken and one that was capable of pointing out things I'd misseed, rather than point out the bleedin' obvious or pull out the tired cliches that so many pundits steal a living by doing.

Defo he's a class act. I wonder what his plans are for the future. If you think about it he's 2 years older than BR I think the management game may be passing him by but like I say I'd have him at Melwood in a heartbeat

Best match of the day combo I've seen so far (watching it online, only just watching it now).
Danny Murphy and Ruud Gullit is a perfect mix to me, even Gary Lineker isn't bad!
