Is he wearing pants that fit him this week? Watched it a month or so ago and his pants were like 5 inches above his ankles

MOTD really need to rethink their whole show, I used to really enjoy it but I barely ever watch it now.

Don't get me wrong I think Neville is dreadful but at least I can laugh at his stupid voice and his attempt at sounding excited.

      Jenas is just dull.

Way too much punditry rotation for my liking.

I must be getting old. I'm starting to think the Beeb are trying to analogise MOTD in the same way as Radio 1 & 2  :f_tongueincheek: MOTD to draw in the 'younger' viewers and MOTD2 for the elder generation. ;D

They should have gone all out for Henry IMO. Someone who was actually intelligent, articulated and fully capable of expressing his point of view succinctly.

Henry writes for the rag, not that intelligent.

I'd have Giroud ahead of Kane any day of the week.

      It is no debate

I have no issue with Lampard, he's a great player but he is a goal scoring midfielder and not much else

Stevie had that in his game

But he could do lots more to an equally high level.. He could do what Lampard, Scholes, Viera, Keane all could do rolled into one

He has been a one in a generation and we have been lucky to witness him

Remember the stories, your grand kids will want to hear them

      Steven Gerrard

If Zidane told me I was the best midfielder in the world I would ask for that quote to be put on my tombstone. Was it Shearer who said he was Keane,Scholes,Viera etc all rolled into one.

Lampard was very good but never world class IMO as he wasn't near as well rounded a footballer as Stevie.

Only Chav supporters would argue Lampard was better.

bbc radio 5 invited George sephton and some other reds to talk about Stevie, sounded good until they said there was a manc and a blue nose there as well.

Does anyone know what song they played at the end of the opening of match of the day?
A funky one mixed with a motown type sound, the lyrics started of the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.

So officiating hasn't improved for this season then. The officials in this Leicester match are embarrassing. Leicester defender should have been sent off, Vardy was offside and Pantilimon handballed outside the box.

Yep although I think even Hansen was getting a bit tiresome at times towards the end but maybe that's because he knew he was leaving.

I cannot F***ing stand Shearer and his style of punditry and he always seems so smug and even agressive in the way he talks. Murphy is dull as ditchwater and when Jenas gets in, which he will, he is as bad.

      Terrible 'experts'.
