Boxing needs a serious kick up the arse, has done for a long time if this is the stuff they're putting on PPV.

"I knew it would be a boring fight, but had to sell it" blah, blah, blah Frampton.

Yet another 'fight' that didn't really involve much fighting, of course there's an art to it but it's becoming a very dull sport. I should have bet on Frampton by points as I saw the interview they did together and you could tell that was his tactic from the off "I've got the better boxing brain" is all he said from start to finish and to be fair to him plan executed.

The better shots were definitely landed by Quigg and if there was a rematch he should back himself more because Frampton wasn't even close to hurting him.

Skinny runts should at least go toe to toe more than just one out of the 12 rounds, it was only the 11th that was truly combative and to fill an arena, get paid the money they have for that really sad display from two 'champions'.

I just wish I didn't assume "majority" decision was the same as "split decision" when putting my bet on...

Good night of boxing tonight to finish off a great day of sport.

Hope Luke Campbell has a good bout and as I type that, it's all over.  Knockout in the 2nd round, well done Luke.

Was a bit shocked to see how badly he did in his last bout so it's good to see him come back like that.

Blackwell hurt in loss to Eubank Jr
Nick Blackwell was taken to hospital after being beaten by Chris Eubank Jr in their British middleweight title fight in London.
The fight was stopped in the 10th on the advice of a doctor who said Blackwell was unable to continue because of swelling over his left eye.

The defeated champion was taken to hospital on a stretcher.
Eubank was quoted as saying ''I hit him with some big shots, maybe the referee should have stopped the fight earlier''.

Hope the lad's ok, the referees judgement in allowing the fight to continue as long as it did comes under scrutiny.
A middleweight fight usually entails sustained combination blows rather than a sudden KO, to allow that to continue to the 10th is questionable.
Eubank suggests that is the case, subtly of course.

Didn't watch that Debs, I was caught up in the gypo debacle on channel 5. Good fight with Eubank though and he deserved his win.

Didn't watch Eubank Ian we watched Kell Brook who also won easy too.

Hope Blackwells ok, I don't like seeing refs let them fight on when they're clearly hurt.

Nick Blackwell comes out of coma
Nick Blackwell has woken from his induced coma following his fight with Chris Eubank Jr last week.

The British middleweight fight was stopped in the 10th round and the 25 year old was taken to hospital.

His promoter Hennessey Sports said that he came round on Saturday and by Sunday he was talking to family and friends at his bedside, they added that Blackwell had suffered a bleed on the skull instead of the more worrying brain injury as was initially reported.

Khan looked ok for the first few rounds, however he needed to avoid Canelo for 12 which was never going to happen. Glass jaw strikes again, that's the reason he'll never be one of the true greats. Such a shame because there is nothing he can do to strengthen that aspect of his game.

GGG makes Canelo look like a fool I think.

Watched that in the early hours, all it needed was Chris Tucker to turn up and say "boy, you just got knocked the F**k out"

Hell of a dig by Canelo.

Khan has give us some boss knock out viewings but he been on the wrong end of them.

That Breidis Prescott one when his ears flapped was an absolute belter. Also remember Khan in a great scrap that he won against some Irish lad years back that was a cracker.

      Not world level the lad.

Glass jaw maybe but iron jaw would have been floored by that punch.

I like Khan and if he did fight Brook I think he would batter him, far superior speed and power for me.

I like Khan as well and he's a fantastic boxer but his chin has always been suspect.

Like you I think he'd beat Brook comfortably.

What ires me with that video is not so much Tyson himself (we all know he's a bloody idiot), but more the man behind the camera, who I'm pretty sure is his trainer and uncle, Peter Fury. This is a man who comes across all calm and composed during press conferences - he really attempts to come across as a normal human being (in comparison to Tyson) and an intelligent boxing trainer.

Yet the bile he comes out in that video is horrendous, especially at the beginning. It just shows this mental gene goes across their whole family. I feel sorry for Tyson in a way - when you are brought up by moronic figureheads like his father and uncle, it's hard to not go rogue
