I think it's ridiculous that fans in the U.S. have better viewing options than fans in the country where the league exists.  I can watch just about every PL, CL, and FA Cup match on my TV, on my ipad, or on my phone, all in HD.  I've become rather spoiled.  You would think people could get the same options in the country where the league is based.

It's not so ridiculous if you think more TV coverage in the UK could affect the number of people actually going to the game.

But it is ridiculous when those fans who cannot get tickets for their club are reduced to waiting for highlights or replays, or rely on dodgy streams ,

If your club week in week out sell out surely it would make sense to televise via outlets such as Lfctv, in our case, and allow those ticketless fans see their heroes to,
Only fans of Liverpool would watch lfctv and would not effect gate receipts at Anfield.

Just a matter of supply and demand isn't it. Where is the highest demand for English football on tv? Where are people willing to pay the most to watch it on tv? Exactly, in England. And apparently people keep paying and it's very profitable, or they wouldn't keep doing it.

English clubs are doing the same with stadium tickets. Absurd prices.

It's not an ideal system but I can understand why it is like it is.

Has the internet had an effect on the match-going red?  Or any Premiership team.  I know that I, for one, if I can afford it, I go, which is rarely of late.

I understand why it's like it is too Si, what I don't understand is why those ticketless fans should miss out because they cannot get tickets,

I'm sure if a subscription fee was introduced for each of the private  broadcasters then no one would complain, so long as it was reasonable,

Not surprisingly tho is Sky not allowing live coverage to the privateers and therefore dictating what and when they cover !

You should be able to get Firstrow as a site.

You are on IOS which is Apples own operating system.
Sadly it is now lagging a long long way behind the most popular operating sytems for mobiles and tablets which is Android.

Firefox is an alternative to IE on Windows .

Chrome is Googles own OS (they also run Android)

The problem always with Apple is that they are like razors.
You buy the unit and then have to download music etc from their stores.
They are limited to their products.

I run a lot of Sony stuff. TVs stereo and Walkmans. I go to "certain" sites (Clue Johnny Depp) and download an album in a minute which I transfer onto a Walkman / Memory Stick whatever ...... or a movie which can play out through Bit Torrent.
Or laptop via an HDMI cable through and out of the TV.

F**k. Who's that knockin at the door !

Over here with the NFL you have practically every game on TV and the stadiums are still sold out across the league every week.  Would it affect attendance that negatively to have better TV availability?

Found an app called AceStream. Watch all LFC for free.
      Went to download.*

It takes over playback for vids audio   etc etc.
Another Freeserve if any one remembers that monster .

      I uninstalled it.*

I'm sticking to Firstrowsports and battling with the ads ... which go if you blow it up to Full Screen... including Bet 365.

After reading your post I thought I'd give it a go (acestream) and installed it yesterday and clicked on an acestream link for the chavs game in wiziwig and it was the best stream I've ever had. There appears to be issues with it because it's basically file sharing and it uses UPNP but I've tested the .exe and had a look at the processes while it's open and I can't see a problem really, leave it with me and if anyone steals my identity I'll let you know. ;)

Australia mate, not UK... And no worries, it's on Fox Sports 2, which as it happens is the only channel we can't get in the room.
