The genre!

Is there any people on here who like house music, dance music, club music, dj's....?

Or is it just me?

Im old but young if ya know what i mean, love it, liked it since 1988 when it all kicked off at the quadrant park in bootle and hecienda. Its pure class, but some of it can be boring and repetative, i could quote many many good songs but my fave has to be beachball.

Only went to the quad once. When did you go the Hacienda? Would have loved to have gone there back in the day.

I've always loved electronic music from a very early age. So when I discovered house music years ago I was chuffed to bits. Still got my old decks! 

Ive got all the old 12 inch records in the loft, will be worth something in a couple of decades. never went the hecienda, too much of a scouser to leave the city for that other place i suppose (silly regionalism is suppose).

I used to love force an styles lee butler an dave graham!!

i used to go to the 051 every week for about 2 years i loved it.

God i wish i was 17 again 

I love some dance music, but I've always found it difficult to distinguish between the different dances genres.

E.g. if someone asked me to tell the difference between House, Trance, Electro etc I would have absolutely no idea how to explain!

I've still got some old Stu Allen tapes knocking about somewhere from when he used to have a show on a Sunday night back then.

I prefered seeing Oakey, Sasha, Digweed etc at Cream around that time though. And Sasha and Digweed are still boss to this day!

I play it all the time still a Dj at 50 and going strong,if you like it you like it,if you don't you don't.

I'm in to a bit of house/dance music Kenneth!  Has anyone seen the new Ministry of Sound album coming out?  It's a chill out album, love some smooth tracks that can settle the nerves.

Going to get that during the week.
