Good to see Alonso and Arby back. Also, it is good to see that he has went with the strongest side.

Good team that.  Hope Riera pulls his finger out and shows some of the early form from when he first arrived.  Good to see Arbeloa and Alonso back also.  Come on Reds!!!

Very strong team that bit surprised that babel didn't even make the bench also I'm surprised that Rafa has two CBs on the bench. If we see the same attacking football as the manc and real games I'm tipping an absolute walkover 4-0 to us.

Good omen before this game: I've got my 70's style LFC t-shirt on, which I wore for the 4-0 win over Real and 4-1 over United. Haven't washed it since! :D

Another one: my 3 year old son recognised the Liverbird on the shirt, saying it was for my football team! ;D He also said I was very handsome in it! ;)

plus we have a goalscorer (dossena) on the bench. guess the villan defence will be scared of him :P :P

Babel and Agger would be great to be in the starting eleven and just then it would be our strongest team.

This is crunch time, great line up...as like everyone, concerned why there is no Ryan Babel.

Reira please, give them a real go on the wing, atleast for 70mins Dossena will do the rest ;)

Aston Villa: Friedel, Reo-Coker, Cuellar, Davies, Luke Young, Milner, Petrov, Barry, Ashley Young, Heskey, Carew.

Subs: Guzan, Agbonlahor, Delfouneso, Knight, Salifou, Shorey, Gardner.

They're using two target-men up front.

      How tall is Carew?

190cm i believe? Only 2 men to look out for, Barry and Young. Riera will atleast have an easy opponent in Reo-Coker but we'll see if he takes advantage.
