I just love watching Texeira play. 

Even in these awful conditions he's so graceful, always calm and composed with the ball, great vision and tenacity.  His strength has really improved since he's been training with the 1st team too.

He's becoming a cross between Coutinho and Sterling and I really hope he gets a decent chance with the 1st team next season.

It takes some bottle to come back from that type of injury Luke, fair play to him to keep going.  It'll set his development back by a few months if not a year but so long as he's healed properly he should be fine.

Good win for the lads tonight to stay top and more or less guarantees our place in the semi finals.

Totally agree Debs. Looks a player with real promise too, let's hope he can rediscover his form and as you so rightly say the coaches wont be expecting anything off him for a good year after that.

He had real promise Luke, the problem for him now is he's 20 in July and since he's been out there's a few players who have overtaken him who are 2 or 3 years younger.

We are exceptionally strong with midfielders at all levels now.  Brannagan, Lussey, Kent, Rossiter, Ojo, Ibe, Wilson and Williams are all younger with Coady, Suso, Texeira, Peterson and Alberto just slightly older.  Not all of them will make it, particularly some of the older ones but I'd be surprised if the younger ones don't.  They have some real talent and quality.

That's great to hear that Pelosi is slowly making his way back. That was one the worst tackles/leg breaks I've ever seen. Atrocious.

Fantastic win today! Texeira was outstanding, the kid is a bit special as a #10. I really hope we give him a chance to shine next season and not go out and purchase another playmaker that's similar to Coutinho and Texeria. I really think he can make it if given the opportunity.

We have a lot of talent in the u21s and u18s and I really would like to see us taking a gamble on these kids and giving them a chance in the next season or two.

just like their first team, a horrible bunch of moaning bas**rds, quite how they got around FIFA's rules about young players is anyones guess.

So after yesterday's emotional ride there's another big game coming up, this time it's the "mini" derby as our U21's visit Everton in the final league game of the season. Kick off is at 7pm, the game is live on LFC TV and LFC TV Go. Should be an entertaining look at some of the bright young prospects we've got coming through.

Let's hope their players don't have their dirty, nasty, bitter game heads on like the earlier fixture mate.  It was brutal how they were flying into tackles and a disgrace if they're being trained to play like that as kids.

I'll be watching though as I believe it's our last league game before the play offs for the Title.  We're currently top but others have games in hand so it's all still to play for.
