      The Apprentice 2009
      Mar 27, 2009 11:44:27 pm
      So, who watches it then?

One of the few programmes I ever really make sure I don't miss on the tele - I just think it's hilarious seeing all these whoppers make tits out of themselves.

Anyway, watched the first one last night and wasn't the girl who got knocked out last night a bit weird looking? She had the smallest gob I've ever seen.

I watch it. I tend to loathe each and every one of the contestants, some more than others and love to watch them f**k things up. Watching arrogant, f**k-nuggets kissing ass, bi*ch and then fail is just the tonic. It's a kind of schadenfreude, I suppose.

The young lady who got fired in the first episode shouldn't be all down tho' - at least she's still got her looks.  >:D

Side on, she looked a bit like a Bull-horn tin opener.

She definitely had a bit of Droopy about her didn't she.

She did seem like a nice person on that after show thing they have with Adrian Chiles though. Which probably makes sense because with the way some things in life go, the backstabbers usually do well for themselves.

I was hoping these two were going to have a cat fight whilst the other girls showered them with cold soapy water, when they were cleaning the cars.  :f_whistle:  What?

I wouldn't let any of them run to the shop for a packet of smokes for me!

      Summary:

App: "We would need £65 per head for some manky sandwiches"

      Client: "F**k off"

App: "Er, em, we could do it for £35 but that's it"

      Client: "F**k right off"

      App: "What about £17.50 then?"

      Client "F**k off"

      App: "15 quid?"

Client: "okay but if the grub's no good we won't pay that"

App: *presses a few buttons on calculator* "Deal"

Client ends up paying £7.50 a head.  :lmao:

Have to say, i'm addicted, love it! Thought it was right decision to fire nural (apologies for spelling) although bens attitude to that task was awful, he couldn't give a s**t about it, anything challenging comes along and he panics. Don't think he will win.

I can't believe that geordie n*b is in with that Kate. I mean, she's not my cup of tea like, but she can do better than him surely?

Aw that's not fair! I wasn't even off topic. We were talking about the winner of The Apprentice, after all.

And an ample winner at that

Alan Sugar looks a bit stoned there doesn't he? Red eyes and all that. Maybe he went to the Argentina game.

In all seriousness though, Yasmena is really inspiring isn't she? She went out and did what most of us could never dream of doing and got her own restaurant and made it a success.

And then she went, 'Naa, Sod this. I'm gonna go and work in a super high pressure environment for someone else's benefit. And to get that job I'm gonna go out on a limb and take part in a process, on national television.'

Absolutely amazing that she was already happy and achieving great things, but she went out of that world and into another for whatever personal reasons she has. A real achiever, but not with Kate's blind aspirations of 'In ten years I want to be a director' without thinking how she'll get there besides her normal talents.

Kate was unlucky, but Yasmena is the winner, and a worthy winner at that.

Thought the right person won in the end.

Brave enough to change her plans during the task, did a great job on the presentation even though it was something she knew wasn't her strong point.  And let's face it - who buys a box of chocolates for £13 to 'stay in'? Bottle of plonk £5. Bottle of chocolates £13? Nah.

Enjoyed that programme.  F**k all good on the telly for another year.

Apparently Kate is working for Sir Alan Sugar too, but on a smaller salary. I was thinking of applying for next years Junior Apprentice, what do you reckon?
