i thought weidmann was winning the fight, and probably would have won, it disappointing for him because there will always be questions over his wins over Silva... even though he "beat" him twice

the rest of the card was good too, i think Hall needs to grow some balls, always trying to be the fans favorite and the nice guy is annoying as hell. he's got skills he should just focus and use them and concentrate on going for the belt

Weidman is legit, he's an animal. The fight could possibly have been stopped in that first, I think everyone wishes it had been in retrospect.

Was a great card but the ending overshadowed it really. Agree on Hall, stick Leben's mind in Hall's body and you'd have a warrior.

I felt like throwing up watching the fight 
I'm not even a huge Anderson or UFC fan but this 'defeat' made me feel extremely down afterwards. I'm hoping he'll come back but probably won't ever be the same... deserves a nice farewell from the sport though.

Talk of him coming back for a legacy match with GSP. That's the only fight I want to see him in!

If he does come back, which is a real possibility given that the injury looks like it will fully heal, its just going to take a good few months i dont think he'll gave the same confidence in the kicks he's had before

although id like to see him fight again, i'm happy that he's healing well

Wow, just caught up on UFC 172. Jones was on another level, putting together combos like something from a video game. Mid fight changing his game plan and deciding to fight Glover on the inside took some massive balls. A master class!

after a couple of dullish fight cards ive got to say the last couple have been very good. Knockouts, submissions comebacks...

Gutted Gus has pulled out due to injury. I really thought it would be Jones that would bail as he never wanted that fight. Having said that, Jones vs. Cormier will be a classic.

I think cormier will take it, i think he might just be too strong for jones whos a more technical/striking fighter

Difficult to go against Jones but this is certainly one where there is cause to doubt him, bearing in mind vs Gusty not many were giving the Mauler a chance beforehand.

Maybe im just being cynical but that seems a poor way to try and promote what is already a potentially great UFC

Anyone do this as a hobby? A few of my mates got me into it last year and because i have been boxing since i was 8, and been bodybuilding since i was 15(well lifting, Bodybuilding when i was 18).
I picked it up quickly I am currently representing Wales in a championship in Argentina in feb, with 3 other welsh lads and another 4 english lads. Just wondering if it was any of you lot because i dont know any of these lads coming down with me, im sure everyone will be in the same boat but i thought we could use this forum to our advantage. Nervous isn't the word.
