I always found ska/punk bands do the best covers, I know in recent times there been a few cover songs on the charts. Flo Rider who does a cover of Right Round, not my taste but it is catchy but there is cover song of Africa (original song by toto) by some raper which is on the charts here in Canada but is horrible.

I love a tune they done called 'One Love'. Brilliant stuff. Shame that vid you posted a while back has been taken down.

This for me is one hell of a cover version. If you like a bit of filthy synth (I love a bit of it!) then give it a listen. Totally made it their own.
