      Fulham v Liverpool
      Premier League
      Sat 4th April @ 5.30pm

      Live on Setanta Sports

A chance for Liverpool to go top of the league, albeit for a possible 24 hours, with either a draw, but preferably all 3 points.

Can the reds take 3 more points at Craven Cottage than Man United managed the other week?

Let's hope Danny Murphy has a quiet game.

Great time to start this thread. The internationals are getting way too boring and i've been itching to get back to more premier league football. This will be a tough game but im sure after murphy have it so long with us, he'll quite quietly have a quiet game to allow us to nick it. It was us that he got his medals, I think he should allow us to walk through them no?

I dont feel nervous about this one and thats what bothers me. Or perhaps the way we have dominated in the last 3 or 4 games makes me feel very confident. Its been a long while since I felt this confident about the team and it will take a bit of getting used to again. We are much better than Fulham in every position so if we go out there confidently from the start I cant see any other result other than a convincing win.

Will the Setanta curse strike us though? :-\

Anyway I'm really looking forward to this! It will be a tough game no doubt. They will be full of confidence after beating United and most of their players are well rested after this International break. I'm hoping to see more of our great attacking football from the first whistle, but we cannot afford to be too relaxed at the back. United concedeing early had them on the back foot for the rest of the game, we can't afford to do this. Hopefully we can push them right back and deliver the killing strike early like we did against Villa.

As far as I know Mascherano will miss this one. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Argentina squad get back on Friday afternoon, and our match is of course on Saturday. He will be too tired to travel to London and play another 90 mins. This means Lucas steps in. Hopefully he will take confidence from hearing his name being sung and will bring his form from the United game in.

I'm going to go for a 2-0 win. Kuyt and Gerrard.

      There's always one!  ;)

Fulham's confidence will be sky high after beating United (even though it was the other week) and they'll look to gun us down too, but we need to guard against complacency.

I'd say they will look to play against our style of play by grinding out and going on the odd attack.  They'll be working on that in training, just like all the other sh*te teams like Stoke have this season.

I'm a bit worried about this game, well I suppose I will be for the remainding 8 games.  Lets get this F***ing win, go top of the League before United play.

If it is Lucas I am ok with that and hope the Lad does well. He has played better away from home. He may of course use Aurelio and Alonso in the middle so we have got plenty of options. I know what you mean about Setanta I've cancelled mine and hope this may help. ;)

I agree, we've got to carry on in the same way. Given that we pick no more knocks up tonight in the internationals, we have to go at every team we play without fear and with freedom to play in our most attacking form. This is it, this is the time for action not talk. I've got a really good feeling that as long as we take care of our own business then we will take this title.

Will be a shame if Mascherano isn't able to play but I think Lucas should put in a decent performance. I can't see anything other than a win for us to be honest.

Feel like such a long time since we last played so i'm really looking forward to this match.

I pray that these Internationals haven't ruined our momentum and the players are still confident! I'm sure Rafa will be reminding them of our recent victories. I also pray no one comes back injured.

      But i'm still confident we'll win! ;D

These internationals might work in our favour in one way Schwarzer has a long way to travel and hopefully that affects his performance.

We have to win this game against fulham , we have to build on that momentum from our winning streak . remember next week is the champions league game against dhelsea , we must also thrash fulham that will boost our confidence and also put us on a high against plastic flags .

Wouldn't say no to it myself.   Don't like their ground though - it's one of them grounds I'm never supremely confident when we play there.

I think we can come away with the 3 points at Fulham.I have a feeling that Danny Murphy will score(wait for it ) an own goal to help us on the way to another 4-0 win.Go the MIGHTY REDS.

i really dont care if its 1-0 or 7 nil as long as we win. And i think that Manure will drop points against Villa because they will want to get straight back on the horse after the beating we gave them.

Good to get the ball rolling again!!! Can't wait for this game!! Massively important.

I've got a feeling this is going to be one of those very tricky games. The sort of game where we find it hard to get going. A scrappy affair.

We've got the quality to get the points though. As long as we keep the passing sharp I think we can take the lead and keep hold of it.

As much as a lot of people will think it's only Fulham, it's a big test for our players to keep the pressure on. I want to see every red man up for it from the off.
