I agree, i detest those half scarves, i could never hold another clubs name above my head except for liverpool, i would feel like i was betraying my club, couldn't do it, just couldn't! Agree with the souvenir thing, supoose that's not too bad.

Thats a joke I could be a bit more tolerant if it was a big European club and the occassion was a final only.

But Liverpool and Chelseas ffs they have met 23 times in 5 years whats the point??

Although i've never bought one of these halfy half scarves, i used to always think that it would have been nice to have had a bit of a collection over the years, with all the different teams we've played, but did always wonder what would happen if we met an english side, If i'd have started collecting them, i would have had gaps in it because there would have been no chance of me buying a scarf with chelsea on.

I can understand people buying one with PSV or Real Madrid, fair enough, but not f***in chelsea, these people shown above need to be named and shamed, the scarf in the second picture isn't even a commerative one, what the F**k is that all about.

Just hope we don't ever get United cus if i see anyone with one of those halfy halfs i will end up getting a ban, for kicking the F**k out of these idiots

What about the people who buy the halfy-half scarfs but only hold up the red side of the scarf?

      What's the point though?

You may as well buy a proper scarf with  just Liverpool on it and no other team.

I have a great selection of scarfs, probably about 50 of them and not one of them has any other team except Liverpool.

We support Liverpool don't we? not chelski/psv/marseille/real madrid etc etc !!!!

Then they're obviously concentrating too much on how they hold their scarf up.

Like MsG says - get a proper scarf. Job done.

      The word here is.

      Dont support football. Support Liverpool.

Dont care how ugly your Liver on one side, Pool on the other side scarf looks, hold it up to distinguish yourself as a true Red. Fact.

Interesting pictures. Threre was always someone in the background looking at the culprit with shock, amusement or disgust. Why were the scarves made in the first place?

^^ Pure greed on the part of Liverpool if you ever go to their club shop.

Embarrassing. (Even the fella behind knows it)

      Also embarrassing.

I have created a simple guide, below, which some of the more peculiar elements of our support may find of educational use.

      would i F**k wear that!

As a souvenir of a game against someone such as Real Madrid then yes as we rarely play them. I'd have one but buy it AFTER the match and take it home to be part of a collection.

Don't stand in the middle of the Kop and hold up a scarf advertising another bloody team you f**kwits.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was an idea by the F.A to try highlight the importance of being a fan of 'football' rather than the club you support if you follow me?

What's going on here. No f*ciking way. Yes ok Liverpool/Istanbul 2005 but another club mentioned, f*ck off, we are Liverpool let them put our name on their scarves if they want. The only concession I would make, is if they had won more European cups than us and it was in a final against them.

Some poor lad two rows down from last night with a liverpool-chelsea scarf on, although that wasn't what he got grief for, with the smoking ban certain smells have become increasingly over-powering and with half-time approaching the lad dropped the most god-awful fart. He rightly had the piss taken out of him for the next five minutes. His younger brother thought it was very funny.

I bought one with Liverpool/Lazio, and I'd forgive anybody I seen with another Euro team on thier scarf, but I cant get over United and Chelsea flags being flown in the Kop. What are these people thinking?

Wonder if anyone would admit to buying a Liverpool/United one if we were to meet tem in CL.

There'd be some slaps getting dished out to them! :D

      Indeed they were.

Youth Cup, Under 11's - never acceptable.
