Why don't Man U just field 12 players and we'll play without a ref?

I have no doubt that he's the best ref on the planet. Just firm and brings about that authority of his everytime. His stern look and a serious face also adds to his credit.

Great ref i agree with you. Just because some decision don't go fans way doesn't make him a bad ref

Ahh sh*t. He's reffing the match on Sunday? Damn it. I'll admit he's a good ref when he wants to be but when it comes to crunch matches at Old Trafford he's dodgy. His performance in helping Man Utd to beat Spurs two seasons ago when Tottenham were winning 2-0 was just an utter disgrace. I've resigned myself to him giving Utd the rub of the green. He's definitely going to give them a penalty. The c**t.

Howard Webb is a calamity of a ref. He usually bends over backwards for Utd at Old Trafford as well, I expect to screw us and give Utd something as well.

Easy to see why you think he is a great ref Keith. If I was a Utd fan I'd be saying the same with all the decisions he has given ye over the years.

Not at all mate. The vast majority think he's the best ref in the country. You don't ref the World Cup unless your one of the best  ;)

Another pox of a performance today. Wasn't even giving the Pen, the linesman gave it. And why the F**k didn't he send of O'Shea? Bottled it again. Plus was i the only one who thought Evans took down Torres after 2-2 when clear on goal?

      Don't even.

It was clear Torres was thru on goal. If you make that call, you send him off.

      Don't you even mate.

He had a good game, after watching several replays, it was NEVER a red.

90% of his decisions were correct; there were few mistakes. Stop trying to make excuses. We're bad.

What did you thing of the Carragher handball Res?
I thought it was handball. Both feet were just outside the box. However, his hands were just inside the box. I don't know the ruling on that one? Do you know?

I think if it had been seen it would have been given as a penalty, and as such, we were lucky to have escaped it.

I said that in the match thread and I'm saying it now.

You guys most certainly deserved the win.

Nice of you to say so Res. the best team on the day won even though we ended up making it hard for ourselves, again!  :-\

If the Ref had seen the handball  but agreed with me that his feet were outside the box but his hands inside. Would it still be a penalty or free kick?

I think if it was me, I would have concentrated on where the ball hit the hand - not where the player was standing.

I don't know what the law is. I'd have given a penalty.

We are assured the fact that these manc loving refs officiate is just coincidence!!!
Likewise that F**k nose Ferguson gives it the one finger at all talk of him being disciplined by the FA for not honouring contractual obligation.
Could it possibly be that the manc mafia have the option of picking a suitable official for the games Ferguson worries about? Coincidentally it always works out that way.

How do you take what I said as me saying we played good or deserving?

It was a red card to me, very, very clear too.

Doesn't mean I thought we played good.
