      Scully

Francis Scully, who remembers him ??

I've just bought, and in the middle of watching that fantastic 7 part series of Scully.

OMG the memories are coming back, Kenny Dalglish appearing in every episode, Mooey - yesss, double yesss, Mad dog and Snotty dog - Brilliant.
Elvis Costello singing 'Turning the town Red', Scully running out with the team V's Everton and kicking the ball into the Kop, just fantastic.

I love the way, in some scenes, that they can't hold back from laughing and poor old Mooey getting slapped by Isiah. - pure class.

I recomend that if you remember it, buy it !!
I bought mine from Amazon for under £10. - money well worth spent.

Yes mate Isiah was the copper as you described, and Elvis Costello was Scully's brother Henry - who was simple and train mad.
It's most defo a purchace if you remember the series.

We gave a few copies of this away on the site a few months back so I got a review copy to watch.  It was a good reminder Kenny Dalglish´s hair was
      most amusing!

      I have to bump this.

One of the funniest things I watched & read in a long time.  It's a shame that there wasn't more written or more episodes wasn't done.

Obviously because there is only 7 chapters in the book but it would of been nice if they carried it on via the TV.

      All in all.  Class.

Come on baby light my fire  :f_whistle:

I remember 'One Summer' with Billy and Icky  ;D

I fancied David Morrissey even then and he went on to become a great actor.

There was a reason why I dug the Scully thread back up.  Just remembered.

I've just finished the book and the DVD.  It reminded me of reading LFCREDS School!  Billy do you get some inspiration from stuff like this?

Must have seen it a thousands times. Strange when you see it these days and you can see the old bubble bus stops and the bridge that was over Williamson Sq when the girls meet up.

The school scene after Billy and Icky have just robbed some ciggys of Wally, is the bottom of our road and Head Street.
