I'm listening to two albums simultaneously at the moment that couldn't be further apart from each other but I love them both for different reasons.
10 Songs by Aaron Fyfe.
I was walking through Town a couple of years back late on a Tuesday morning or something like that and heard this amazing busker who was opposite the McDonald's on Lord Street. It was this Glasgow lad. I had to stop for a while and listen before getting his Twitter off him. Very interesting to see him release an album now.

An unbelievable album to the hip hop massive. After Good Kid he could easily have kept it all mainstream and simple and some will say he should have. Outside of hip hop circles and hardcore hip hop fans I'm not sure how many new fans he will get from this but for me as an album it is phenomenal even if all of the songs aren't easy on the ear. Lots of Black Power throughout the album as well as funk and deep jazz.
Very big balls to do an album like this. Very risky but I love it.
