True. Any lighter and this squad will be so paper thin, it would be hard to see us seeing a season of seriously challenging for honours throughout the course of the season. Lets just hope that should he go, a worthy replacement is made. In fairness, he isn't contributing much to the team and with the chances he has had, seems fairly unlikely to anytime soon.

Swap deal for Affelay would be great, meaning Babel gets to go back to Holland, but I can't see it.

I'd go with all that exluding Doris... someones got to keep the kopites watered maybe throw in Degen instead

If he is going lets get it done as quick as possible. Get the money (or the swapped player) and let Rafa do what he can before Tuesday.

I hope a deal is done to get him out quickly. I don't see any potential in the lad any longer and it would be a good time to release him.

We are getting going with what is arguably our most important season in 19 years that it is imperative we don't have people like him moaning to the press just because he doesn't get the games. Would damage team spirit and harmony around. Its his performance that will earn him a place in the team not his mouth.

He doesn't seem to learn for me, not Liverpool standard and not of Liverpool attitude. I thought in the first season he had fantastic potential but then he spiralled on a downfall, last season despite getting a good number of sub appearances and some starts (10 or so) he didn't take his chances and made no impact whatsoever.

23 soon already so like he's said he's no longer young. If he can't fulfil his potential and continue to keep him here then his value is going to drop drastically which we wouldn't want.

You have potential at 19 or 20 at 22 you are either good enough or not and so far he is in the latter category which I find dissapointing because even the experts thought he would come good last year.
