Kagawa's nightmare is over - 12m move back to Dortmund. He can finally realise his dream of playing for a top club under a top manager again.

      12mill? 6.3 wasn't it?

Certain that report said 12m when it was first posted. BBC Sport overestimating everything to do with Man Utd once again! As you noted, it indeed looks like just 6.3m.

Manchester United are making some kind of mistakes wher ethey think buying world cup superstars on high wages are going to make them an instant success. Most of these are players have no premier league experience and are not gelled with the current United team. Over time they will start to gell and improve in the premier league, but by that time they would have lost their Addidas sponsorship and ability to attract top players. People will probably make a name for themselves and leave unless they are on super high wages. When we were in Uniteds predictument we downsized our wage bill since we were not bringing in Champions League revenue. Suarez was not on really high wages when we got him from Ajax and Sterling just came throug acadamy, Sturridge being a bargain! I very much doubt Manchester Uniteds attack right now are anywhere near what we had for much less wages. Rooney 300k was more than the amount of our entire forwards were earning combined, then they signed 60m on Di Maria who is good but not worth that much! He's not even garenteed to perform in the PL and on high wages. Kagawa and Valencia leaving is not an improvement. Alex Fergison did well with these players and suddenly they aren't good enough under Moyes or Haal? I'm not sure they increased the quality, just the wage bill. If I was in charge of United I would cut Rooney offthe wage bill and get rid of Welbeck too. I would go sign Remy, would have got Eto too. Would have kept Kagawa and got in some defensive re-inforcements. Man U will be broke and their team no better.

Never seen a team drift so quickly from Premiership contenders to top 4 battlers, to scraping to make European football altogether :D

Falcao will make them more potent, but it's like having a fancy house, knowing there's a huge crack in the foundations of the walls and they're trying to fix it by trying cover the crack with a painting.

United will be challengers for top 4 once they get all their players fit but this signing is just absurd. Loaning Javier Hernandez I don't understand either, Hernandez isn't as good as Falcao but he's decent and gets goals. Much better spending that money on a midfielder and a defender then keeper Hernandez.

      Falcao? No CL? Really?

      Gun for hire.

He hasn't played in the CL for 4 seasons :P.

They would have been better off spending the £50 mill on Vidal since they have no midfield, stupid cu*ts.

Rooney, RVP, Mata, DiMaria, Falcao is as good an attacking line up you'll see in world football.

Shame they have such a piss poor squad other than the above.

My lack of research shames me, meh. :P

Hopefully that's the curse he carries, destined not to play CL footy with any club he signs for. That I can live with.

It's all good, either Rooney or RVP will have to be dropped to accommodate Falcao and neither will be happy. Can see Rooney or RVP throwing a big strop this season and demanding a move come January if they get dropped.

Interesting one this. Ferguson seemed to always go for defenders when they were dominate, now they are playing catch up they are going for big money attackers.

This does not work, remember Newcastle? Scored a lot, conceded even more.

A huge gamble, if Falcao was any good, and I'm not say he isn't, but if he was, way are Monaco letting him go? £50m player going out on loan. And why is he going to a club in only 2 competitions? League and FA Cup?

Of course, the money, but if that is the case, what his his motivation?

Ferguson has left a team in total disarray, how many of his players are still there? His OAP's kept that team together, now they have gone it shows he was not as good as everyone claimed.

Sir Bob left a well oiled machine when he left, one that kept on winning.

Are Utd going to do a Spurs? Let's hope so.

If they fail to get in to the CL next year, they are fu**ed with their debt.

Yes of course. But that may be because Tevez had multiple owners and West Ham no money.

it looks good, but utd will find a way to mess it up

RVPs season will be forgotten through injury/laziness
Falcao is only there for a season and it's costing them 20mil, ;D the team will start trying to cater for him too much so he wins them games and it'll be a disaster
Di Maria will be 'unitified' like Mata has

and Rooney? nobody's scared of Rooney anymore :D

So is Falcao to Utd on loan a done deal? Is this the same guy who was umming and ahhing when we showed an interest and then he instead ends up at Utd, I almost feel sorry for the tw@t, he just ends up at sh*t club after sh*t club doesn't he.
Another thing is that Utd really are starting to assemble quite a cast of Mercenary pr1cks who will be off the first second someone else comes calling who flashes a bit more cash at them. Utd really are in a big big trouble I think.
